Materials: When using the suggested materials, it will be about 22 cm tall. The listed wool and hook sizes are only suggestions. It is, of course, entirely your personal choice, which yarn you use. Please keep in mind that different yarn may result in a bigger or smaller piece. Make sure to adapt your hook size according to your yarn and personal tension. When crocheting Amigurumis you should use a much smaller needle size than indicated on the label or you would use it for other crochet projects so that no holes are made when the piece is stuffed.• Yarn (Sport Weight), e. g. (about 75g), some black, different colors for mane and tail, some pink for horn and hooves, some gold for the horn - you can make a really big fluffy cuddly toy when you use thick chenille yarn (e. g. Bernat Blanket or a yarn like that)

Now thread a longer thread through a wool needle (e.g. gold or silver - but you can also use another contrasting color such as white or something like that), make a knot at the end and insert needle from the inside into the tip of the horn towards the outside, right next to the first stitch of the 2nd round. And now always insert from the same side stitch by stitch through the free loops (i.e. wrap around) until you have reached the bottom. Fix the thread and hide it inside, stuff and shape the horn.

Pupil (make 2): Black, hook size 2.0 mm 1. hdc in MR (10) Beenden, Faden zum Annähen lassen.

Nostrils (make 2): White, hook size 2.0 mm 1. ch 6, starting in 2nd chain from hook: sc 5 (5) Fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing.

Horseshoe (make 2 for the legs): Pink, hook size 2.0 mm 1. ch 15, starting in 2nd chain from hook: sc 14 (14) Fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing.

Horseshoe (make 2 for the arms): Pink, hook size 2.0 mm 1. ch 13, starting in 2nd chain from hook: sc 12 (12) Fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing.

Finishing: Now place the head on the body, align and fix with pins, then sew together with the end thread of the body (a new thread is also possible). How to do this best is shown in this Video (klick) by PlanetJune.

First place nostrils (slightly bent), ears (flattened), eyes and horn on the head with pins and move until you like it, then sew all parts on ( take white thread for the eyes and make sure to only stitch through the white stitches), embroider mouth and eyebrows with black thread, possibly embroider highlights on the pupil with white thread.

Place the horseshoes in the typical shape on legs and arms and sew them in place.

The mane and the tail I have knotted in (latch hooked) with different pastel shades and brushed it until the single threads of the yarn were twirled apart. Of course you can also crochet chains with slip stitches or spiral curls or whatever you like to use here.
