Asaalamualaikun and a very good morning to……………….. Do you like travelling? I believe most of you here love to travel especially by planes. Maybe some of you have flown many times to see the wonderful world. As for me I only experienced it one time. Yes, only once in my life and it is my unforgettable moment that I would like to share with all of you today. My first experience in air travel was at the age of fourteen . It was around March 2013. My parents planned the trip to kota kinabalu by Malindo Air . We were some of their first few passengers flying on their second day of operations. I was so excited and I waited nervous for the day of departure. The flight left at 6.00 a.m. We arrived at KLIA as early as 4.00 am. to check in our luggage and confirm our seats. We completed the routine check up and passed to board our plane. The air hostess smiled and said “hello” and directed us to our seats. I occupied the window seat. Then the aircraft started to take off at high speed. Soon it was airborne and flew higher and higher. . I looked through the window and enjoyed the panoramic view of the city. The river looked like a silver-thread broken here and there. The people looked like dots and buildings like toys. I was filled with great joy and thrill. Our plane flew smoothly and glided through the air like a bird. The trees, houses, buildings, rivers seemed flying away backward with a great speed. Small woolly fluffy clouds floated around us making the view that of a fairyland. The plane glided at area speed so smoothly that I hardly felt any movement and motion, but a very gentle push. The landscape below presented an enchanting sight . I took the greatest pleasure in looking at the scenery. It was a lovely sight. I was so happy that I burst into tears. In about fifteen minutes, we were invited to undo our seat belts.

We were some of their first few passengers flying on their second day of operations.I was so excited and I waited nervous for the day of departure.

The landscape below presented an enchanting sight. I took the greatest pleasure in looking at the scenery. It was a lovely sight. I was so happy that I burst into tears.

In about fifteen minutes, we were invited to undo our seat belts. The air hostess served us drinks. The air hostesses were nice and polite. I was just simply enjoying every moment of my first air travel. More than two hours passed before the plane began to descend. We were asked to fasten our seat belts once again. Suddenly the plane began to shudder mildly. In a few minutes I was able to see the magnificent view of Sabah coastline and the sea. All of a sudden the building looked very near and in no time the flight landed smoothly at Kota Kinabalu airport.

My first experience on a plane was a memorable one which I shall never forget.  It looked like a short but a wonderful dream because for me it is only once in a blue moon. Thank you.
