The Oldest Hydroelectric Power Station in Leśna on the River Kwisa

The dam on the Kwisa river was built in 1901.

The hydroelectric power plant was opened in 1907 and still operating to this day.

It produces up to 2.7 megawatts of power.

100-year-old turbines and generators are original and still operating.

HYDROPOWER STATION IN ŻARNOWIEC

Situated in the northern part of Gdańsk Province.

A pumped-storage, operates on Żarnowieckie lake (of glacial origin).

Was launched in 1983. Maximum capacity is

800 MW.

SOLINA HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT

Among peaks of the Bieszczady Mountains.

A peak-load power plant with a pumping component.

The higher-elevation reservoir of the plant is the largest artificial lake in Poland.
