Thank you all once again for supporting our annual event – we look forward to spending time with you online.

  • Virtual Room B: Traditional Tools for Challenging Aspects (workshop) – Kelly SurteesWith the help of well known examples, Kelly will offer productive ways to use the more frustrating parts of our charts, and show how these placements can highlight areas in life that might require extra support. We’ll also learn how to talk about hard aspects and share solutions with clients to help them work with these placements.

Session 4: 12:00–12:50Virtual Room A: continuation of Melanie Reinhart’s workshopVirtual Room B: continuation of Kelly Surtees’s workshop

Session 5: 14:00–14:50Virtual Room A: Advising with Horary Astrology (workshop) – Wade CavesEarly in my astrological studies, I inherited a categorically false notion that horary astrology responds best to questions that can be answered with a ‘yes’ or a ‘no’. In this divinatory playground, let’s step into the role of advisor with carefully selected horary charts for group interpretation, discussion and challenge.

Virtual Room B: Patterns of Development in the Natal Chart (workshop) – Mark JonesIn this workshop, we shall explore the meaning of the cardinal cross, its impact on self-development, the nature of the Moon and its nodes and the way that natal chart patterns influence life expression. To bring the material to life, this workshop will be illustrated with client examples from Mark’s extensive client base.

Session 6: 15:00–15:50Virtual Room A: continuation of Wade Caves’s workshop

Virtual Room B: continuation of Mark Jones’s workshop

Session 7: 16:00–16:50Virtual Room A: How the ‘Nightmarish’ 6th, 8th and 12th Houses Don’t Have to Be That Way – Samuel ReynoldsClassically, the 6th, 8th and 12th houses were often deemed the ‘bad’ houses of any horoscope. However, the challenges of these houses have powerful opportunities for genuine growth and development. Samuel will unpack rationally the negative associations of these houses, then offer ways to make the best of these difficult areas.

Virtual Room B: Mystical Saturn: A Planet for All Ages – Acyuta-bhava Dasa (Adam Elenbaas) When the planet Neptune was seen for the very first time through a telescope, it was conjunct Saturn. In this talk, we shall explore the symbolism of Saturn across the ages, while also exploring the possibility that the ancient Saturn is just as mystical and other-worldly as any of the modern, outer planets – including Neptune!

    Session 8: 17:00–17:20Virtual Room A: break

Virtual Room B: Q&A/Day 1 reflections with Frank Clifford

Session 9: 17:30–18:20Virtual Room A: Under the Gaze of Janus: The Two Faces of Astrology and the Jupiter–Saturn Conjunct – Graham IbellThe practice of astrology is facilitated by the interplay of Jupiter and Saturn: symbol and structure, intuition and technique, spirit and form, amplification and discrimination. This talk discusses the implications of the upcoming conjunction for astrology, particularly with respect to the meeting of psychological and traditional approaches.

Virtual Room B: Solar Return Charts – Öner DöşerSolar returns are among the most reliable predictive techniques in use today, and they provide us with specific information for each new year of our life. With the help of examples, traditional astrologer Öner Döşer will introduce this technique, which can be used alongside transits, profections and lunar returns.

    SUNDAY 27 SEPTEMBER

Session 10: 09:00–09:50Virtual Room A: What to Do Until the Transit is Over (workshop) – Brian ClarkClients often ask which strategies are helpful when undergoing a major transit. Today, Brian will show how to amplify the process and timing of planetary transits, as well as identify different temperamental approaches to change that can help us and our clients participate more consciously in dynamic periods of adjustment.

Virtual Room B: The Saturn–Uranus Square: Making Sense of Everything Changing Now – Nadiya ShahOne of the defining astrological events of next year will be the three-time square between Saturn and Uranus, occurring in February, June and December. This talk will explore how this important aspect represents experimentation as well as resistance to the societal and world changes coming later this decade.

Session 11: 10:00–10:50Virtual Room A: continuation of Brian Clark’s workshop

Virtual Room B: Draconic Irrigation for the Soul – Victor OlliverBy clarifying the soul’s needs, North Nodal Draconic Astrology has the potential to make sense of the past (the known) and to prepare for the future (the unknown). It offers the personal big picture of life purpose. Using various charts, Victor will address the question not infrequently asked: Why am I here?

Session 12: 11:00–11:50Virtual Room A: Splitting and Reconnecting: Working with the Nodes in Gemini–Sagittarius (workshop) – Lynn BellAs the North Node travels through Gemini, it pulls things apart and shows their contradictions. It also invites us to look at the world through a split-view mirror and make new connections. In this workshop, we’ll look at how this 18-month transit activates our own charts and consider what this may mean for us personally.

Virtual Room B: Sexuality and Human Relationships – Alejo LópezDo we still believe in a binary model that establishes monogamy as ‘true love’ and other choices as indications of lesser commitment? Or perhaps ‘love is love’ no matter the form it takes. In this talk, we shall challenge traditional ways of assessing love, sex and relationships with the aim of understanding our pulsating hearts.

Session 13: 12:00–12:50Virtual Room A: continuation of Lynn Bell’s workshop

Virtual Room B: Training Your Astrological Intuition – Richard SwattonIntuition is a creative and psychic process, and while it cannot be overly controlled or willed into action, it can be trained. In this new talk, Richard will explore methods and exercises for us to use while ‘tuning in’ to interpret a birth chart.

Session 14: 14:00–14:50Virtual Room A: The Moon’s Phases in Your Life: Your Past in Your Future (workshop) – Dr Bernadette BradyFrom birth, the phases of our progressed Moon slowly unfold to produce a rhythm of waxing and waning seasons that sweep us along for our entire life. In this workshop, we shall unpack the

  • meanings of each phase and work with different examples from the group.

Virtual Room B: Understanding the Past, Embracing the Future (workshop) – Darby CostelloA wise philosopher once said, ‘Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.’ As astrologers we can contemplate times in history in light of outer planetary patterns. This allows us to guide ourselves and others into the future with courage and grace – if we are willing. Join Darby for this illuminating workshop.

Session 15: 15:00–15:50Virtual Room A: continuation of Bernadette Brady’s workshop

Virtual Room B: continuation of Darby Costello’s workshop

Session 16: 16:00–16:50Virtual Room A: Saturn: From ‘Authority Over’ to ‘Sovereignty Within’ – Adam GainsburgA close look at Saturn’s cycle and phases with the Sun both elevates and broadens our work with the Ringed One. By combining Saturn’s sky factors (appearance, brightness, proximity to Earth, etc.) with its chart placement (sign, house, aspects), we quickly find our delineations of Saturn transform from Individual vs Society to Individual + Society.

Virtual Room B: Synastry: The First Meeting Chart – Frank CliffordA study of relationship dynamics would not be complete without the inclusion of a horoscope for the first time we meet someone. Learn how the ‘first meeting’ chart holds fascinating insights into a relationship and its future, and even reveals information about children and pets who may later be part of that union!

    Session 17: 17:00–Virtual Room A: 17:00–17:30 Q&A/Day 2 reflections with Wendy Stacey

Virtual Room B: 17:00–18:50 Let’s Go Back to the Future! (workshop) – Patricia Walsh‘It is never too late to be what you might have been,’ said novelist George Eliot. In this workshop, Patricia will describe the dynamics of past karmic complexes – how they impede you in the present while also providing impetus for future growth. She will share a technique to help free you from the past, so you can realize your evolutionary potential.

Session 18: 17:30–18:20Virtual Room A: Creating the Future through Understanding the Past – Dr Richard TarnasAs Kierkegaard wrote in his journal, ‘Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forward.’ This poignant existential truth takes on new, more complex meaning when we bring in astrology. Every act of astrological interpretation exerts a creative influence on the future. This is the great responsibility and challenge bestowed to every astrologer.

Virtual Room B: continuation of Patricia Walsh’s workshop (until 18:50)
