X I N T A N( C E L I N E )

This project illustrates how air pollution affectshuman life. I choose this topic because the city I

was living in (Beijing, China) has huge air pollutionproblem. I want trough this video to make people

take this problem

The story called under the dome, the air pollutionlike a dome, it trapps people under the dome.

Next Generation

CONCEPT 01

The concept 1 main idea is about how thenext generation will live in this pollutionplanet.

TrappedPART ONE: STORY BACKGROUND

A new born baby has been found tohave a tumour. As she has grown up, hermother is over protective and will not lether outside due to the harmful pollution. The air pollution will cause seriousdamage to her sensitive lungs. Whenshe looks out the window and sees otherchildren playing, she feels lonely. Shereally wants to go out, but her motherforbids it.

However, she can not stay in doorforever. She will go to school, she

will have PE classes etc., parents cannot protect her forever.

02MONEY$SICKNESS

Industries are the greatestcontributors to pollution asthey use many differentchemicals and processes thatproduce waste.

They don't use filter, don't usegreen energy, because theywant safe money from it.Money is not everything. You saved money, but can'tbuy your healthy back.

Reducing emission levels from industry willhave a major impact on air pollution.

Industries can implement different techniques toreduce emissions.

It will reduce the amounts of gases in the air, reduce health risks and reduce acid rain.

RENEWABLEENERGY

PART 2Renewable energy is an alternative toenergy created by burning fossil fuels. Bybuilding more hydroelectricity plants, windfarms and utilising water and solarenergy, the need for burning fossil fuelsto create electricity will decrease.

Renewable energies are cleaner, reliableand much cleaner and healthier for theenvironment.

Governments have tightened industry laws withregard to emissions. This control has helped airpollution levels and makes industries aware ofhow they are contributing to the problems. Also, industry standards have also been modified.

WHAT ISAIR

POLLUTION?

PART 1

Air lets our living planet breathe—it's the mixture ofgases that fills the atmosphere, giving life to the

plants and animals that make Earth such a vibrantplace.

Broadly speaking, air is almost entirely made up oftwo gases (78 percent nitrogen and 21 percentoxygen), with a few other gases (such as carbondioxide and argon) present in absolutely minutequantities.

HumanHealth

According to the World HealthOrganization (WHO), air pollution isone of the world's biggest killers: itcauses around two million people todie prematurely each year. Many ofthese deaths happen in developingcountries.

Air pollution kills quietly andrelentlessly, and its finger is hard todetect on the trigger, people barely

seem to notice—or care.

Deaths aren't the only humanconsequence of air pollution.

For every person who dies, hundredsor thousands more suffer breathing

problems such as asthma andbronchitis. Workers exposed to high

levels of dust sometimes suffer yearsof misery before dying from illnesses

such as silicosis.
