The new Taco Bar Tuesday is available on Tuesdays at all DFW-area Uncle Julio’s restaurants beginning May 28 th . This interactive dining experience starts with delicious meats -- ground beef or shredded chicken – kept warm in individual dutch ovens. Then, guests choose their complements from among 13 different fresh taco topping ingredients, like chopped cilantro, pickled red onions, limes, chipotle crema, tumbleweed onions, Cotija cheese and roasted corn pico, just to name a few. Soft tortillas and crunchy shells are provided to keep it all together in whichever way you prefer. Taco Bar Tuesday is presented to the table on a spinning wooden tray, allowing everyone at the table easy access to any of the ingredients. Favorite flavor combinations from the kitchen include: • “The Spicy,” a crispy taco with ground beef, spicy red chili sauce, chopped onion and cilantro, Cotija cheese and a twist of lime; • “The Cowboy,” a soft taco with ground beef, chipotle crema, roasted corn pico, Cotija cheese and tumbleweed onions; • “The Flamingo,” a soft taco with sauteed chicken, lime crema, roasted corn pico, pickled red onions and chopped cilantro; and • “The Twist,” a crispy taco with sauteed chicken, chipotle crema, Cotija cheese, shredded cheese, lettuce and tomato. Guests can make one of these fantastic flavor combinations, or try their own signature Taco Bar Tuesday creation. For just $10 per person, this interactive dining experience needs a minimum of two people per order, because it’s even more fun with a friend, anyway. It’s perfect for families (everyone gets what they want to eat, and it’s fun!), date night (what he or she wants on their taco says a lot about them!), or groups of adults (a new weekday or lunch tradition with lots of customization options).
