Ultimate soccer academy sponsored byNissan Al-Babtain, the exclusive agentfor Nissan cars in the state of Kuwait,

came back from Barcelona with the bronzemedal after winning the third place in the

international championship. Nissan Al-Babtain is firmly committed to

encourage young generation to improve theircreativity and develop their skills. This was thereason behind sponsoring and supporting the

Ultimate Soccer Academy, as they believe thatsupporting such activities gives young gener-ation the opportunity to express themselvesindividually and in groups, which will preparethem to start their career with great confi-

dence and the ability to communicate withothers. The Ultimate Soccer Academy provideswell-studied program for its trainees, consist-ing from three training classes per week.

Kuwait Society for the Handicapped recently organized a national celebration with senior citizens and people with special needs at the society. The event took place under the auspices of Sheikha OmniyaAbdullah Mubarak Al-Sabah and in collaboration with the Indian Women Association (IWA).

The 45th Independence and National dayof Bangladesh was observed inBangladesh Military Contingent

Headquarters at Subhan Cantonment withdue festivity. The day was observed with seriesof events. At the very outset, an enchanted

photo exhibition on war of Liberation andBMC to Kuwait activities was organized. It wasfollowed by a welcome speech byCommander BMC Brigadier General S MShamim-Uz-Zaman, BSP, ndc, psc, where thecontribution of the Father of the Nation

Bangbondhu Sheikh Mojibur Rahman in liber-ating Bangladesh was recalled with duerespect. The sacrifice of Bangladeshi nationalsfrom all walks of life were also highlightedbefore the august gathering. Later, a cake cut-ting ceremony was held in presence of the dis-

tinguished guests which was followed by alunch. Major General Ibrahim S Al-Omaire,psc, Kuwait Armed Forces attended the pro-gram as chief guest. Besides, a good numberof senior officers from Kuwait Armed Forces,few Defence Attaches, officers from

Bangladesh Embassy, few civil dignitaries andBMC members were also present. All invitedguests expressed their deep felicitation forpeople of Bangladesh and congratulated thehosts on the occasion of independence andnational day.
