DYRHAM PARK 10K, NR BATH 5 OCTOBER 2014 Owned by the National Trust, this beautiful 250 acres of parkland is home to more than 200 roaming deer, so you’ll be sure to see them as you run through the stunning grounds, landscaped gardens and

PRIDE RUN 10K, LONDON 9 AUGUST 2014 It’s the tenth anniversary of the Pride Run this year, which is held in London’s leafy Victoria Park. The flat route follows paths and is wheelchair accessible. Expect a great crowd and great support,

ISLE OF MAN HALF MARATHON, RAMSEY 10 AUGUST 2014 Held at the north of the island, this road race is undulating for the first five miles (watch out for the killer hill at mile four), but relatively flat for the remainder – and the scenery more than makes up for

CHEDDAR GORGE HALF MARATHON, CHEDDAR 17 AUGUST 2014 A super-demanding course (there’s a 600m climb simply to get to the start line!), the route is incredibly hilly, and the terrain varied and exciting, so off-road shoes are highly recommended. Expect

BRISTOL HALF MARATHON, BRISTOL 21 SEPTEMBER 2014 Starting in Bristol’s historic harbourside, the scenic, sea-level route includes an out-and-back stretch along the Portway, which sees you pass twice under Brunel’s famous Clifton Suspension Bridge,

BUPA GREAT NORTH RUN, NEWCASTLE 7 SEPTEMBER 2014 A record 56,000 runners take part in this annual event, which is now firmly established as one of the world’s top half marathons. The undulating route takes you along crowd-lined main roads from
