M axi Miller Power Plus is a new, powerful and efficient multi-use trenchless system

from Picote. It allows the use of Picote’s unique tools in DN150-300 sewers (DN70

& 100 inside straight pipe). The Miller Power Plus System is designed for faster

lateral reinstatements, even higher speed drain cleaning and more efficient col-

lapsed liner removal. The Power Plus provides double the power compared to the regular Maxi

Miller (3kw vs. 1.5kw).

T o guarantee the high quality of its innovative products, Picote now manufactures

its own cleaning chains. Picote’s new patent pending U-carbide design for the

Premium Cyclone and Premium Original chains is an exciting advancement.

The new carbide has twice the size and the surface contact of the standard mod-

el. For this reason, the new chain cleans more as it turns, making the cleaning process faster.

The increased surface makes the carbide longer lasting with less wear per use. The superior

fabrication of the carbide is resilient, again increasing the chain’s life-span.

Picote is also introducing the new patent-pending Tornado Chain. The Tornado is a heavy-

duty chain with carbides on every chain link. This makes it a very strong and long lasting

chain, as chains usually begin to wear off on places without carbides. The chain is made from

highly specialised raw material, increasing the life-span even further. Both the Premium and

Tornado chains have end couplings that are forward and backward grinding.

SMART SPIDER

The Smart Spider cleans all types of pipes fast and highly efficiently - even safe to use in PVC

pipes. A unique tool designed specifically for pipes where the base or other sections are missing.

Easily navigates 90° bends. Available sizes: DN100 & 150 for Maxi Miller, 150 & 200 for Maxi

Power Plus. For smaller sizes in cast iron, clay or concrete pipes, use the Picote chains.

Easily rebuild your Spider when necessary. Affordable spare parts and rebuild packages

available. The tip of the leg will wear off with use - change legs after the tip has worn out.

The Spider must always be operated with its spring leader for flexibility.

Operate at a slower speed: Max 1000 RPM. Only operate with a Maxi Miller.

Attach your Smart Spider to the shaft (always use a sleeve bearing). Check the rotational

direction - always rotate clockwise. Position the Spider inside the pipe by manually rotating

the Spider legs. Turn your Maxi Miller on (Max 1000rpm). Now start your cleaning process.

Be aware of the proficiency of the Smart Spider - continuously flush the dust out of the pipe

with water when in use.

This innovative system has successfully reinstated over 45,000 branches worldwide to

date inside cast iron, concrete and clay pipes.

The Smart Cutter™ not only eliminates the need for traditionally expensive methods,

but its user friendly and fully customisable design also greatly reduces training and maintenance

Available for lined or unlined pipes, the Twister Ex-

press is up to six times faster at re-instating con-

nections than the original Twister. With replaceable

plastic guards to prevent damage to the plastic

pipe, the Express focuses on safety as well as

speed. Use with Midi /Maxi Miller for DN100 pipes.

The Twister Liner Remover is a specialty tool de-

signed to remove collapsed liner. It has two front

brushes for stabilisation. It also features a custom

built flat drill head. The impressive 3mm front metal

panel features large carbides, enabling it to perform

collapsed liner removal in DN100 and 150 cast iron

or concrete pipes highly efficiently. For use with the

Maxi Miller.

The Twister Mini has been designed for re-

instating connections in DN50 & 70 plastic, cast iron

T he Twister Concrete Remover answers what is a very big problem for contrac-

tors around the world - concrete inside the pipe. With extra thick front metal panels

with chunky carbides that eat through concrete, the Concrete Remover is a practi-

cal and effective tool that saves time and money at the worksite. Currently availa-

ble in two sizes for DN100 and 150 pipes. For use with the Maxi Miller,

the Concrete Remover has two models, one with a steering axle and

one without. If the pipe is completely blocked use the regular Concrete

Remover, but if there is enough of a gap simply add the steering axle

to guide you through the problem areas and get the job done.

A new Twister Concrete Remover is also now available for DN150 and

200 pipes with the Maxi Miller Power Plus for added strength. (see

T he Sentinel is used in monitoring three distinct parts of the lining process: pressure

of the liners, power supply and water levels in pumping stations. Along with moni-

toring these three parts, Sentinel has a remote alarm feature. The Sentinel sends a

text message alert via the GSM network to a cell phone should there be a power out-

age, fluctuation of the pressure outside the limits, or should the water level in a pumping station

rise too high. Sentinel settings are easily adjusted by GSM commands. Pressure data can be

requested via text message. 2x pressure connectors, 1x water level monitor (upgradeable), pow-

er supply monitoring 110-230v / 50-60Hz, 3-phase powers supply monitoring 400v / 50-60Hz

Don’t be a loser!

THE GRABBER Ever lose a tool or other important item down the

drain? Avoid digging up costly mistakes with the

Picote Grabber. Simply select and attach the

best grabbing head for the job and reclaim that

tool or item, weighing up to 36kg. Push the ca-

ble into place and switch on the air supply. The

customised steering function allows the grabbing

head to rotate due to the cable inside, making it

much easier to grip the item. Pull the tool out of

the drain and turn off the air to release it. Add

extensions in 10m increments when required.
