    Jueves 2008-05-29 14:3Estimados colegas:

Tuve una reunin telefnica con el

    siguiente personal de CARE:

Melanie Chen, Directora de Negocios conel Gobierno del USA.

    Ralph Merriam, Director CARE en

    Nicaragua

    proyecto.

Entre los temas que ellos me

    mencionaron:

Que ya haba en existencia un estudio

(SNV-Holanda?) sobre este tema, y que

CARE haba presentado una voz de

alarma al consorcio sobre el riesgo de

    afectar negativamente a productoras.

nosotros. Creo que la reunin ayudara a

impulsar mas el apoyo que darn en

    NicaraguaSaludos

    Articulate all actors

    The process of

    implementation of the

    strategy involved a

    dynamic of articulation of

    actors.

By positioning the MCA as a

    program seriously committed

to equity, rural womenproducers identified an

    important ally with power for

    inclusion

Chemonics technicians for their part have the contractual duty to

contribute to meeting the goals of the operators, they were forced

by individual performance to identify and integrate female

producers. Women, who had an important ally in the MCA,

developed alliances with the technicians so they could meet their

responsibilities and, in turn, they were included in the Program

Families gave resources to women producersso they could comply with the number ofcows or farming acres required to bemembers of a core. In agriculture, whenwomen are the subject of productive activity

    were considered candidates for BP.Examples

Flexibility and creativity in implementing the strategy

    Female producers without

    legal deed on the land

    could be involved in the

    project if they could submit

    documents that clarify their

    rights to use the properties.
