Attractions, Sights and Experiences

The Angel of the North: This is Britain's largest sculpture, designed by Antony Gormley for Gateshead Council. It is 20m high and has a 54m wing span. The rich red colour comes from the weathering steel.

The Castle Keep: It’s one of the finest Norman stone castle surviving in Britain today. Located within the historic heart of the city, it boasts an outstanding view of the river and seven bridges from its rooftop.

Tyne Bridge: It’s an arch bridge over the river Tyne linking Newcastle upon Tyne and Gateshead. It is a symbol of Tyneside's industrial past! Besides, it has been featured in films, on television and is the subject of thousands of photographs!

The Sage Gateshead: It’s an international home for music. It houses two main stages of acoustic excellence, four bars, a brasserie and a café. The building itself is spectacular and entry is free, so pop in and have a look around for great views of the Quayside!

Eldon Square: It’s the UK’s largest city centre shopping complex! Discover a concentration of quality shopping offering you over 140 top retail names.

Baltic Gallery: It’s a modern art gallery with a variety of temporary exhibitions on display. Even if you don’t really want to see the art, it’s still worth a visit for the views from the restaurant at the top. Admission is free!

A : Sooner the better. Most popular venues get booked upto 12 months in advance for the most popular dates and times.To avoid disappointment, we highly recommend booking earlyand it will only cost £50 for a deposit to secure everything

Q : How do the other group members pay?

A : Our unique payment systems is very simple. The lead organiser will receive a username and password which is access to the payment tracker terminal. Each party memberwill log in using this username and password and pay theirown share - simple as that!
