Game ChangerIn July 2013, Steel Sports purchased a majority stake in UK Elite Soccer. This injection has provided UK Elite with valuable resources to expand its reach nationally.

The Football Club USA offers a national network of branded youth soccer clubs while Global Team Events provides sporting platforms via tournaments, tours and sporting events.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENTAs part of your professional development you will be observed coaching by a senior staff member and receive written feedback regarding your performance. PD can include observation of seasonal coaching sessions, game day and summer camp coaching.

As coaches, we all have strengths and weaknesses, and through observation, reflection and the sharing of ideas we can ALL improve. Some, though not all PD evaluation forms, will consist of a number scale that is meant to indicate your relative strengths and weaknesses in an economical fashion.

THE OPPORTUNITIES

Summer CoachingRegardless of contract, you will spend part of your time with UK Elite Soccer working on our summer programs. Your summer will consist of the following:

Camps and ProgramsHalf or full-day programs running one week at a time in different communities. Players register as individuals and are grouped by age and ability.

Team Training Weeks These are mostly evening programs where teams will spend five nights in preparation for the upcoming season. Players will sign up as a team or multiple teams from the same club.

Residential Five days of eating, sleeping and living soccer! Individual or team registrants attend from Sunday to Thursday and participate in three sessions a day including technical, tactical, functional and game play.

High SchoolDay or evening programs varying from single schools up to as many as 400 players. Intense and high level preparation for the high school (14-18 years old) soccer season that starts in September.

Summer Tournament Teams Our more experienced coaches will be given the responsibility of head coaching teams during the summer tournament season and developing a squad in all aspects of the game.

Seasonal CoachingDuring the school year (spring and fall seasons) you will work on a repeating weekly schedule for a period of 10-12 weeks. At this time you will work evenings and weekends in a number of communities on the following programs:

Team Coaching Developing teams through weekly or bi-weekly coaching sessions and game day coaching.

Recreational CoachingWorking with individual players and groups associated with township programs.

UK PetiteWorking during the day or on weekends with our younger players on programs that develop social and motor skills and offer an introduction to the world of soccer for 3-5-year-olds.

Individual Development Programs (IDP) Developing players first touch, creative ability and general athletic performance. Individual player programs for year round soccer performance.

Football Club USAFor those coaches looking to work with high level players, there is also an opportunity to work with FC USA. This is our premier level club that caters to serious soccer players from many states. It offers a progressive pathway as you develop your coaching ability and a chance to push your knowledge and practical experience.

Global Team EventsWhether working for eight weeks, nine months or full-time, all of our staff will also be involved in the ‘events’ side of UK Elite. Under the banner Global Team Events, this will involve:

TournamentsYou will help set up and run all aspects of our one or two day tournaments.

One World Football These one day clinics are run across the country in conjunction with some of our sponsors and in line with high profile soccer events.

Global Team Travel You will have the opportunity to travel the world with your teams or as part of the Team UK Elite summer tours to Europe.

Chevrolet Youth Soccer Series During the fall season, a group of selected coaches will have the chance to tour the USA, while setting up and running clinics in partnership with Chevrolet.

THE CONTRACTSUK Elite Soccer recruits on a year-round basis and is constantly looking for the next generation of great coaches. The following contracts we offer reflect our seasonal need but will also be supplemented throughout the calendar year:

Seasonal Soccer CoachAn eight or nine month contract where staff will be relocated to one of our regions and be based there through the spring, summer and fall seasons. Contracts run from March-November.

Graduate Soccer CoachLike the seasonal coach, but instead it’s a five month contract starting in July and running through the middle of November.

Summer Soccer CoachAn eight to ten week contract during which time staff will be centrally trained before working on a summer camp deal on either the East Coast, West Coast or Southern Region. Commitment would be all of July and August.

Full-Time CoachWe are always looking for full-time positions to be filled either from U.S. based candidates or from within our current seasonal coaching pool. Our full-time opportunities include Directors of Coaching, Club Coaches (Football Club USA), Event Managers (Global Team Events), or regional staff with UK Elite Soccer.

All Contracts Include:» Return flights from the U.K. or relocation expenses if moving from

within the U.S.

» Accomodations in either seasonal UK Elite housing or as part of the summer coaches pool

» Transport in our fleet of vehicles, including work related petrol/gas

» Full and state-of-the-art coaching uniform provided by Adidas®

» All equipment needed to carry out your job to the high level expected

» Orientation, training and industry leading professional development

U.S./Domestic Applicants:» UK Elite Soccer will relocate U.S. based coaches if preferred, and package

will include housing/transport as with overseas applicants.

» You can apply at any time, and UK Elite conducts year round interviews at our regional offices [MA, CT, NY, NJ, PA, MD, VA, TX and WA] as well as at national coaching events.

» UK Elite’s ability to offer significant coaching hours, unparalleled experience and unmatched professional development will give individuals a unique opportunity to show immediate progression in the U.S. coaching environment.

Overseas/International Applicants:» Our main recruiting window takes place in the UK and Ireland in October

and November of the year prior to travel. Spring interviews are also available as are Skype/FaceTime meetings in exceptional circumstances.

» UK Elite will take care of all immigration paperwork and procedure leaving you to concentrate on the job at hand. Seasonal coaches will come to the United States on an H2B visa and summer coaches on a J1 visa.

» All successful candidates will be responsible for interviewing at the U.S. Consulate in order to have their passports processed prior to travel.

ALL Applicants:» Seasonal coaches will be housed in shared accommodation with other UK Elite

coaching staff. Houses will typically be shared between four and six people in geographical centers close to your work sites.

» Summer coaches will either live in hotels, at private schools that we use for our programs, or will stay with host families.

» We provide cars for our employees for all related work travel. Allocation is based on one car per two coaches, and staff must be a minimum of 21 years old in order to be a driver.

» All contracts will have “Non-Coaching and Event” hours built in to give our coaches an insight into our business operations and to provide essential help in the day-to-day running of UK Elite.

» Our seasonal coaching staff will have financial incentives to hit and exceed, coaching targets. You will have the opportunity to earn performance bonuses beyond your regular salary.
