BRIEF ITINERARY*

Day 1 Departing our local area, we journey to London, where free time is available before seeing a matinee performance of your chosen show or if you prefer, do as you please, the coach will transfer you to and from the theatre.

Day 2 After a leisurely breakfast, we will have a visit to the Postal Museum, or if you prefer you are free to do as you please. We depart London mid-afternoon to arrive home early evening.

We have arranged three shows on your behalf, you are very welcome to organise your own show and if the theatre is in the same area as we are dropping off/picking up and the timings are the same, then you are more than welcome to use the coach for transport.

BRIEF ITINERARY*

Day 1 Departing our local area, we journey south with suitable comfort breaks en route to Warners Littlecote House in Berkshire.

Day 2 Today our journey takes us south through the Vale of Pewsey, an area of outstanding natural beauty. We follow the River Avon through a number of pretty villages via Stonehenge to Salisbury, the principle town of Wiltshire and its famous cathedral, where free time is available.

Day 3 Departing after a leisurely breakfast we travel alongside the Kennett and Avon Canal to Kintbury and the historic market town of Hungerford, where free time is available before returning to the hotel.

Day 4 Today we journey through some pretty villages to Wantage, which is an attractive market town in the picturesque Vale of White Horse. It is famous as the birthplace of King Alfred the Great and his statue can be found in the market place. Free time is available here prior to returning over the Lambourn Downs.

Day 5 Departing the hotel we make our return journey with suitable comfort breaks en route to arrive home late afternoon.

BRIEF ITINERARY*

Day 1 Departing our local area, we journey to the picturesque market town of Bury St. Edmonds with its breath-taking cathedral, fascinating Abbey ruins and shopping centre. It is here where we make a break for lunch before arriving at the hotel.

Day 2 Today we visit Constable Country to include the pretty village of Dedham, the little hamlet of Flatford Mill and cottage and East Bergholt.

Day 3 A scenic day as we journey through the chocolate box villages of the region, which includes Clare, Cavendish and the charming village of Long Melford; known for its shops, galleries and Suffolk inns. Finally, we travel to Lavenham, voted one of Britain’s finest preserved villages, where free time is available.

Day 4 Departing the hotel, we explore the 50 mile stretch of heritage coastline and an area of natural outstanding beauty, before making our first break at Aldeburgh, one of Suffolk’s pretty coastal resorts where free time is available. Continuing to Thorpeness, we see the old water tower known as ‘The House in the Clouds’, before travelling to Leiston and to the pretty resort of Southwold and its famous pier.

Day 5 After breakfast, our journey takes us to Orford on the coast, with its historic castle, quay and superb views, here we will make a short break. Continuing to Snape Maltings, one of the world’s leading centres of music founded by Suffolk born Composer Benjamin Britten, it is here where we have free time to explore, before our visit to the small town of Framlington.

BRIEF ITINERARY*Day 1 Departing our local area, we journey through the Cotswolds with suitable comfort

breaks en route before arriving at the hotel.Day 2 Today we enjoy a leisurely morning in Chippenham and its market. It combines

new and old as well as the historic architectural gems and modern shopping centres, making it an ideal place to explore and take lunch. Feeling refreshed, we make our short drive to the beautiful film locations of Biddestone and Castle Combe.

Day 3 Departing the hotel after breakfast we journey through the Wiltshire countryside to visit Lacock and Bradford upon Avon.

Day 4 Today our excursion takes us to the city of Bath, with its stunning preserved Baths and serene Georgian architecture. For those who wish there is an opportunity of a city tour with blue badge guide from the comfort of the coach.

Day 5 After a leisurely breakfast we make our return journey with suitable comfort breaks en route to arrive home late afternoon.

We visit many of the stone-built villages and film locations which include Lacock, Bidestone and Castle Combe that are featured in such films and TV dramas such as Harry Potter, Cranford, Pride & Prejudice, The Christmas Candle, The Wolfman, War Horse, Stardust, Larkrise to Candleford, Dr Dolittle and Poirot.

The 3-star Angel Hotel is a delightful 17th century Coaching Inn set in the market town of Chippenham, dating back to 1751. The hotel overlooks the market place and has been refurbished to offer modern contemporary styled bedrooms. The hotel has an indoor pool, bar, restaurant and free Wi-Fi. Each of the bedrooms are en suite and feature a TV, seating area and hospitality tray. The hotel does not have a lift, however some ground floor rooms are available on request.

Saturday 4th – Monday 6th AprilMilton Keynes became one of the modern towns of England in the 1960s surrounded by lovely villages and is now well known as a shopper’s paradise. Whether you are looking for a state of the art shopping mall, traditional boutique shops, farmer’s markets, Milton Keynes has it all and proudly boasts one of the largest covered shopping centres in Europe.

The Mercure Milton Keynes hotel offers a convenient location and all guests are greeted with a warm welcome. All bedrooms are en suite with Wi-Fi, TV, hairdryer and hospitality tray. Please note there is no lift, however ground floor rooms are available accessed by 4/5 steps. A Stannah lift is also available.

BRIEF ITINERARY*

Day 1 Departing our local area, we journey to Milton Keynes for shopping and sightseeing before making our way to the Mercure hotel.

Day 2 For many, the highlight of the tour is to visit Bletchley Park where Alan Turing and his colleagues helped crack Germany’s Enigma Code during World War II. We uncover Bletchley Park’s remarkable story by visiting the unglamorous functional Codebreaking Huts and Blocks, Alan Turing’s office, the library, the wartime garages (complete with WW II vehicles) and a series of interactive exhibits. Alternatively, you can spend the day in Milton Keynes shopping.

Day 3 Departing the hotel, we journey to the perfect village of Woburn where free time is available to explore. Woburn has become a thriving tourist spot for artists and painters and has a variety of cafes, restaurants and specialist shops. Leaving Woburn we make a scenic journey home through Bedfordshire to arrive approximately late afternoon.

Day 1 Departing our local area, we journey to North Wales with suitable comfort breaks en route before arriving at the Tynedale Hotel.

Day 2 Join us for our introduction tour of Llandudno before travelling to Conwy, a fine medieval town with an imposing castle and lively quay, and where you will find what is claimed to be the smallest house in Great Britain, enjoy free time here before returning to Llandudno.

Day 3 Today we depart Llandudno and follow the coastline via the Snowdonia National Park, we then cross over the Menai Straits to the Isle of Anglesey where we make a visit to Plas Newydd House and Gardens, the home of the Marquis of Anglesey, National Trust Property (entrance fee for non-members £12.20).

Day 4 Today enjoy the opportunity of a free day to be spent at your leisure. Venture up the Great Orme, browse around the shops or simply relax in the hotel.

Day 5 After a leisurely breakfast, we make our return journey with suitable comfort breaks en route to arrive home late afternoon.

Llandudno, is North Wales’ Premier Resort, with its sweeping bay situated between the Great and Little Orme.

The Tynedale Hotel is located on the promenade and just a short walk from the high street and pier. All bedrooms are comfortably furnished with en suite facilities, TV, telephone, hairdryer and hospitality tray. Most of the bedrooms are served by a lift. This hotel has an excellent reputation for its cuisine, friendly service and evening entertainment.

BRIEF ITINERARY*

Day 1 Departing our local area, we travel north to the Scottish border at Gretna, before continuing via Glasgow, scenic Loch Lomond, over the Rest and Be Thankful to Loch Fyne and Inveraray, Loch Awe and the Pass of Brander before arriving at Oban, on the west coast of Scotland looking out to the Isle of Mull/Lismore and Kerrera. It is here where we make our overnight stay for dinner, bed and breakfast at the Royal Hotel, opposite the pier where many ships make their departure for the Inner and Outer Hebridean Islands.

Day 2 Today, we follow the scenic drive along Loch Linnhe to Fort William and the famous Neptune’s staircase (Locks), Spean Bridge (Commando’s memorial) along Loch Lochy, known as the Caledonian Canal to Invergarry, travelling west past Loch Garry, Loch Loyne, Loch Cluanie and the famous five sisters near Shiel Bridge to the Kyle of Lochalsh, crossing the Skye bridge, our views unfold of the Cullin mountains on the Isle of Skye as we journey through the magnificent scenery to Portree, where we make a break. We continue our journey north to Uig, where we board the ferry to Lochmaddy before arriving at the Dark Island Hotel, Benbecula for the next two nights for dinner, bed & breakfast. The traditional style hotel is in a countryside location. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, hairdryer and hospitality tray. Please note the hotel does not have a lift, however, ground floor rooms are available.

Day 3 Departing the hotel, we explore the stunning South Uist with its beaches and crystal waters, passing by Ormacleit Castle where you will have the opportunity to see one of Scotland’s shortest lived castles, which burnt down seven years after completion in an accidental fire. linked to South Uist by a stone causeway. The beautiful little island of Eriskay is home to the bay where Bonnie Prince Charlie first set foot on Scottish soil, it is also known for its ponies, which are semi wild and often seen in the village. We continue our journey to the hotel through beautiful scenery.

Day 4 After our two night stay on the south island of Benbecula, we travel northwards for a spot of island hopping! From Benbecula, we travel across North Uist through miles of stunning sandy beaches, freshwater lochs, rolling moorland hills and unrivalled bird watching before reaching Berneray, to board the ferry to Leverburgh. We cross the Sound of Harris on to the Isle of Harris, which offers an incredible diversity in its landscapes, from the inhospitable rocky shore in the east to the golden sandy beaches in the west. The Isle of Harris is linked by road to the Isle of Lewis and the drive passes some of the most dramatic coastal scenery in the whole of the UK. We visit the Isle of Scalpay to admire its lovely waterfront villages, a real highlight of today’s journey. Our destination tonight is Stornoway, the capital of Lewis, where we settle into our hotel for two nights at the Caladh Inn for dinner, bed and breakfast. All bedrooms are en suite with TV and hospitality tray. A lift serves all floors. Stornoway is a delightful destination with all the amenities you would expect from a much larger town offering great shopping, traditional pubs and a harbour with a couple of resident seals, which can be quite entertaining at times.

Day 5 Today, we explore the north of the Isle of Lewis to enjoy the island’s stunning scenery. Lewis is the largest and most populous of the Western Islands, although it remains refreshingly unspoilt and uncrowded and home to some of the most important seabird colonies in the UK as well as its history and heritage. We have included a visit to the Callanish Standing Stones and the Gearrannan Blackhouse Village, where we experience the history and heritage of crafting life prior to returning to Stornoway for free time.

Day 6 This morning we enjoy free time to relax and explore the town of Stornoway before boarding the afternoon ferry to Ullapool which arrives back on mainland Scotland late afternoon. Departing Ullapool we journey through the highlands of Scotland passing Loch Broom, Garve, Strathpeffer, Inverness, via the Cairngorms and Aviemore, to Pitlochry for our overnight stay at the Fishers Hotel for dinner, bed and breakfast.

Day 7 Departing the hotel we journey to Perth, Sterling, Glasgow and so back into England at Gretna, to arrive home late afternoon/early evening.

BRIEF ITINERARY*

Day 1 Departing our local area, we journey to Swaffham where we have a break for lunch before arriving at the Wensum Valley Hotel.

Day 2 Today, we travel to Corpusty Mill Gardens, the private garden of Roger Last and his late brother, John. High walls and hedges surround the personal hidden garden, with its imaginative world which contain five acres of personal style. The mill which is the oldest part was acquired after the Second World War by the brothers’ parents. We have a private personal guided tour by the owner, only available to groups. After our visit to the gardens we make our way to Thursford for a ‘Behind the Scenes’ guided tour which takes you through the casts’ dressing rooms, the huge storeroom of exquisite costumes and flamboyant head-dresses worn in the Christmas Spectacular shows and also a visit to the Steam Museum Collection.

Day 3 Departing the hotel after breakfast, we journey to Norwich, a modern, yet one of the most complete medieval cities in the UK with the spire of the majestic Norman Cathedral dominating its skyline. Norwich has a heritage that is a delight to explore with a flourishing arts, music and cultural scene, a superb high street for shopping and a vast selection of lively cafes/restaurants. There is an opportunity for those who wish, to take a blue badge city tour and in the afternoon, free time is available for you to explore. For those who wish why not visit the Victorian Town Plantation Gardens for a small extra cost, (approximately £2.00) which is close to the cathedral and one of Norwich’s great surprises.

Day 4 Today, we have a full tour of the Norfolk Broads including Potter Heigham, Wroxham and an included 1 hour 30 minute boat cruise on the famous luxury Mississippi Paddle Boat. Departing by boat from the village of Horning we pass many old thatched houses, windmills and Norfolk reed beds. Listen to an excellent commentary pointing out all the water birds around at the time.

Day 4 Today our ‘Italian Experience’ will be accompanied by a qualified guide as we journey into the Nervia Valley and Dolceacqua. Lunch will be taken in the old Olive Mill situated in a delightful setting. We enjoy Ligurian specialties and the local wine before finishing with Limoncello or Grappa.

Day 5 Today we will be accompanied by a qualified guide who will enhance our visit with a full commentary and showing us all the places of interest of Monte Carlo and the principality of Monaco including the late Prince Rainer’s Royal Palace, where a daily ‘Changing of the Guard’ ceremony takes place, the famous casino and the magnificent harbour filled with the most expensive yachts in the world.

Day 6 Departing the hotel, we journey along the Mediterranean coast also called the ‘Riviera of Flowers’ to Alassio, picturesquely situated on a bay with a lovely sandy beach and backdrop of hills and mountains rising from the rear of the town. Along the palm lined sea front and the main streets and piazzas, the resort is flat with many narrow shopping streets, providing a great deal of interest for the wandering holidaymaker. Free time is available here to explore. If time permits we will visit the pretty ancient hilltop village of Cervo which is reached by many steps.

Day 7 Today is a free day at leisure in the resort.

Day 8 Sadly, this morning we depart Diano Marina and begin our homeward journey to the Novotel Dijon Route des Grands Crus, Marsanny la Cote for dinner bed and breakfast.

BRIEF ITINERARY*

Day 1 Departing our local area, we journey to Wales with adequate comfort breaks en route to the port of Holyhead to board the cruise ferry for the crossing to Dublin. On disembarking, we continue our journey to the 4-star Johnstown House Hotel for our overnight stay near Enfield for Dinner, Bed and full Irish Breakfast.

Day 2 Today, we travel north west across Ireland with a suitable lunch break to arrive at the Manor House Country Hotel in Killadeas.

Day 3 This morning we offer a leisurely morning to relax in the hotel surroundings before enjoying a visit to the Ulster American Folk Park, which is one of the country’s major museums. Here you will be able to experience the epic story of Ireland’s emigration from the thatched cottages of Ulster to the American Frontier brought to life through costumed re-enactments. This evening we enjoy one of the highlights of this tour, a sunset dinner cruise on the ‘Lady of the Lake’ on the lovely Lough Erne. If the Sunset Dinner Cruise is cancelled due to inclement weather, the hotel will try to rearrange an alternative day, but this is subject to availability.

Day 4 Today our excursion takes us on a scenic drive through beautiful surroundings of the Fermanagh Lakelands area to make our included visit to the Florence Court House and Garden. This is a warm and welcoming 18th-century property owned and managed by the National Trust and is the former home of the Earls of Enniskillen. The house enjoys a peaceful setting in West Fermanagh with a dramatic backdrop of mountains and forests. There is a charming walled garden all overlooked by the Cuilcagh Mountains. After our visit, we travel to Enniskillen which is built on a natural island between Upper and Lower Lough Erne. The town’s oldest building is the castle, home to the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, discover a collection of arts and crafts and boutiques in the Buttermarket. Free time is available here to explore before we return to the hotel.

Day 5 Departing the hotel we travel through traditional Irish countryside to the overnight hotel in Bray which is situated on the coast for our evening meal and overnight stay.

Day 6 Due to the early start, there is tea/coffee with a selection of pastries in the hotel reception before we travel to the port of Dublin. We have included a late breakfast as you cruise over the Irish Sea. On disembarking at Holyhead, we continue our journey with adequate comfort breaks en route to arrive home approximately late afternoon/early evening.

Day 1 Departing our local area, we travel south with suitable comfort breaks en route to the Queens Hotel in Penzance.

Day 2 After a leisurely breakfast we journey to Newlyn and Mousehole where free time is available to explore before returning to Penzance.

Day 3 Departing the hotel, we take the ferry from Penzance harbour to the uncrowded and unspoilt Isles of Scilly. We can relax and enjoy the stunning views and if we are lucky enough, we may even be joined by a playful pod of dolphins. On arrival in Calais we journey through France to our overnight hotel, the Mercure in Lisieux in Normandy, the capital of the Pays d’ Auge area where hopefully we have free time to explore, before arriving at the hotel for dinner, bed and breakfast.

Day 4 Departing the hotel, we make our way to the seaside resort of Benodet, a very popular and interesting location where one of the most beautiful rivers in France, the Odet meets the open sea. It is one of the most popular port towns and resorts in the region. Admire the pleasure boats in the pretty harbour and enjoy a variety of activities. There is an opportunity for those who wish to embark on a circular river cruise lasting just over two hours along the beautiful Odet river, the most beautiful in France according to Sir Winston Churchill. Our journey will take us past woodland landscapes, numerous castles, manor houses and forgotten creeks. A guided commentary will explain all about the attractions along the route. After our cruise we make our way to Quimper, the cultural heart of Brittany with its many timbered frame buildings and Gothic Cathedral. We spend time here for lunch before making our way to the stunning village of Locronan named after a revered Irishman. The village is full of little boutiques, architect and history.

Day 5 Today, we travel to Vannes, one of Brittany’s most important and picturesque towns. With its charming half-timbered houses, many dating from the 16-century which is a pleasure to explore with something new to admire around every corner. Why not finish your stay down the harbour where you can enjoy a relaxing drink whilst admiring the views of the Gulf of Morbihan. In the afternoon, we journey to Pont-Aven, an artist’s town where Paul Gauguin painted many famous canvases. Historic watermills and floral displays along the banks of the River Aven add to the delights of this pretty town and port.

Day 6 After breakfast we make our return journey across Brittany to Caen, final resting place of William the Conqueror and home of the D-Day Memorial Museum where free time is available. If time permits we will make a visit to Pegasus Bridge before arriving at the Mercure hotel in Lisieux for Dinner, Bed & Breakfast.

Day 1 Departing our local area, we journey West with a suitable comfort stop in Welshpool en route to arrive in Llandrindod Wells and our hotel to relax before dinner.

Day 2 This morning our excursion takes us to the Elan Valley and Dams where we make a break at the Visitor’s centre, continuing our journey over breath-taking scenery to Cwmystwyth, Devil’s Bridge, Mynach Falls and the Vale of Rheidol Railway. We continue following the River Wye to Llangurig and Rhayader before returning to the hotel.

BRIEF ITINERARY*Day 1 Today, we journey to Wales with adequate comfort breaks en route to the port of Holyhead to board our cruise ferry for the

crossing to Dublin. On disembarking, we continue our journey to the 4 star Ballymascanion House Hotel in Dundalk. Day 2 After breakfast, we travel to Northern Ireland’s capital, Belfast, a compact and welcoming city with much to see including

the Ulster Museum and City Hall. There is an opportunity for those who wish to have an optional city tour of Belfast with a Blue Badge Guide after which free time is available to explore. In the afternoon, we have our included visit to the Titanic experience located in the Titanic Quarters. The Titanic Experience extends over nine galleries which explore the sights, sounds, smells and stories of Titanic as well as the city that made her.

Day 3 Today, we enjoy a scenic drive through the Slieve Gullion Forest Park to the beautiful Mountains of Mourne, continuing to Newcastle, a small seaside resort in County Down, it lies by the Irish Sea at the foot of Slieve Donard, the highest of the Mourne Mountains. It is here where we have a break before continuing our coastal drive passing the Silent Valley Reservoir, Annalong, Kilkeel to Greencastle where we board the ferry, crossing Carlingford Lough to Greenore, before returning to Carlingford, one of the best preserved medieval towns in Ireland, boasting an idyllic location in the heart of the beautiful Cooley Peninsula.

Day 4 Departing the hotel, we journey to Ireland’s capital city Dublin and enjoy a 45-minute guided cruise on the River Liffey before enjoying some free time to explore the many attractions this vibrant city has to offer. We return to the hotel with time to relax in the hotel surroundings.

Day 5 Today we bid farewell to Ireland and travel to the port of Dublin for an early sailing to Holyhead. Due to the early start, we have included a late breakfast/brunch as you cruise over the Irish Sea. On disembarking at Holyhead, we continue our journey to arrive home early evening.

Dundalk is an excellent base from which to explore Ireland’s two capital cities.

Day 4 Today, we tour the southern mainland with our qualified tour guide to view golden beaches, cliff scenery and seabirds, stopping first to take in the view of the beautiful shell sand tombolo (or Ayre) that connects the mainland to St. Ninian’s Isle before arriving at Sumburgh Head. It is here where we make a break at the Sumburgh Hotel situated next to the Jarlshof - probably one of the most important archaeological sites in Europe and a perfect way to see 5000 years of Shetland history all on one site. (our guide will give us an introduction to this) Heading north we make a stop at the Croft House Museum giving a wonderful insight into how the people of Shetland would have lived until the 1960’s. Free time will be available in Lerwick where lunch may be taken and visit the town centre. Departing after lunch we take you towards the west mainland, stopping to visit the Shetland ponies in Tingwall Valley. We continue our journey to Scalloway, the former capital of Shetland and home to the Scalloway Castle and Museum, which has some wonderful displays about the local history, but also about the ‘Shetland Bus’ an undercover operation that took place in WW2. Free time is available here, before returning to the hotel.

Day 5 Departing the hotel, with our qualified guide, we journey north west to see fascinating seastacks, known as the ‘Drongs’, there is a great opportunity for photographs here. Continuing to Eshaness Cliffs, where a short walk takes us to the U.K.’s largest sea cave, Calders Geo. We have included entry to the Tangwick Haa Museum which displays different aspects of life in Northmavine through the years. After our visit, we journey to the beautiful bay at Hillswick and have included a soup/sandwich lunch in the St. Magnus Bay Hotel. We journey south, through Shetland’s largest planation of trees, before arriving at the Shetland Jewellery, for a tour of the workshop, where silver and gold jewellery, using Nordic, traditional and wildlife designs are produced. We continue our journey back to Lerwick where we visit the 5-star Museum and archives before ending our tour at the North Sea Terminal to board the overnight ship and settle into our cabins before dinner is served on board.

BRIEF ITINERARY*

Day 1 Departing our local area early morning we journey to Folkestone for our Eurotunnel crossing to Calais. On arrival in Calais we continue our journey through France to Reims where free time will be available to explore the beautiful cathedral and shops before arriving at the Novotel Reims Tinqueux for dinner, bed and breakfast.

Day 2 Departing the hotel, we make our onward journey through France to Strasbourg where a late lunch can be taken, see the half-timbered houses of Petit France and its Gothic cathedral, before our journey to the traditional family run hotel Ochsen located in the village of Kehl-kork.

Day 3 Today is a free day for you to explore the village or take a short bus journey for a small fee (approximately €2/3) into Kehl, whose history goes back many years.

Day 4 Departing the hotel after breakfast, our tour takes us into the Vosges Mountains and the pretty Alsace villages, where we make a break in Colmar also know as ‘Little Venice’. There is an opportunity for those who wish to ride on the little tourist train to discover all the monuments and sites of this old town, travel along the cobbled streets that are lined with half-timbered medieval and early renaissance buildings. After free time in Colmar, we board the coach to continue our journey along the spectacular ‘Route Des Vins’ (wine route) and its many picturesque villages, which may include Riquewihr, Ribeauville, Kintzheim to Obernai, where we have included wine tasting.

Day 5 Today we visit the stunning Lake Titisee, one of the most picturesque areas of the Black Forest region with time for leisurely sightseeing, here it may be possible to enjoy an optional boat trip on the lake. This afternoon we visit Freiburg, the city of miniature streams and cobbled stone streets known as the jewel of the Black Forest, here you will find a fascinating cathedral, beautiful parks, cafes and restaurants all waiting to be explored.

Day 6 After breakfast, we travel to Freudenstadt, the ‘town of joy’ founded by the refugees and silver miners. It was severely damaged during the 2nd World War but it has since been painstakingly rebuilt. The expansive central square, more than 650 feet long and edged with arcaded shops is Germany’s largest marketplace.

Day 7 Departing the hotel we travel to Luxembourg city where free time is available before making our way to Leige for our overnight stay.

Day 8 This morning we depart Liege and journey via Brussels to Calais for our Eurotunnel crossing to Folkestone and our homeward journey to arrive early evening.

Day 1 Departing our local area, we journey through the Cotswolds to Tewksbury where we have a break for lunch to explore the medieval town lined with half-timbered houses, museum and heritage centre before arriving at the hotel.

Day 2 Today, we take a scenic drive to Ross-on-Wye a small market town on the northern edge of the Forest of Dean, England’s oldest oak forest, where we make a break. We continue our journey alongside the River Wye and through the Forest of Dean with its ever changing landscape to Tintern Abbey and Chepstow before returning to the hotel.

Day 3 Departing the hotel, we journey to Gloucester where you have free time to explore this beautiful cathedral city. Gloucester Cathedral was used in most of the Harry Potter films as Hogwarts School of Witchcraft, enjoy the many sights and attractions including the award-winning quays, which has been transformed into a shopping paradise. In the afternoon, we journey to Cheltenham, where free time is available before returning to the hotel. Day 4 Our journey today, takes us to Slimbridge Wetland Wildlife Reserve for our visit, which was set up by the artist and naturalist Sir Peter Scott and opened in 1946 as a centre for research and conservation. Slimbridge Wetland Centre cares for and studies ducks, geese and swans of the world and offers an excellent opportunity for bird watchers and photography. Its new £6.2m visitor centre houses a wildlife art gallery, the Hanson Discovery Centre, the Waterside Restaurant, a cinema and the Sloane Observation Tower, which provides breathtaking views of the Cotswolds and the River Severn. BRIEF ITINERARY*

Day 1 Departing our local area, we journey to Folkestone for our mid- morning Eurotunnel crossing to Calais. On arrival in Calais, we take a scenic journey through France and into Belgium to the charming little town of Poperinge with its main square, restaurants, bars and cafes where free time is available. There will be an opportunity for those who wish, at a small extra cost to visit Talbot House, established in 1915 by Tubby Clayton before arriving at the hotel.

Day 2 Today we can walk from the hotel to visit the award-winning market which is held in the square. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the many cafes, restaurants and shops. Alternatively, in the afternoon for those who wish, there will be a coach tour of the British and Commonwealth cemeteries which would include Tyne Cot.

Day 3 Departing the hotel after a leisurely breakfast we journey to Brugge, known as the ‘Venice of the North’, to visit the famous Christmas markets in its medieval square, where a truly memorable time can be had, with its beautifully decorated shopping streets and colourful lights, restaurants, cafes and bars.

Day 4 After a leisurely breakfast, we make our return journey calling at a hypermarket for you to purchase wines etc., before our Eurotunnel crossing to Folkestone. On arrival in Folkestone we continue our homeward journey to arrive early evening.

Friday 27th – Monday 30th NovemberYpres is a thriving historic town that was devastated during bloodiest battles of 1917 and 1918. We recommend a visit to the Flanders Field Museum or visit the beautiful square that is surrounded by delightful shops, cafes and restaurants.

Nestled between the historic streets of Ypres, just moments away from Flanders Field, the Ariane Hotel holds a long tradition of serving as a ‘home from home’ for guests from all over the world.

The Ariane is a family-run hotel offering modern air-conditioned en suite rooms equipped with a TV, Wi-Fi, minibar, a Nespresso coffee machine and tea facilities. There is a lift. Monday 7th - Friday 11th DecemberThe itinerary of this tour is planned to coincide with the ‘Winter Wonderland’ programme of the hotel.

Ravenscar is situated 7 miles south-east of Whitby, perched on cliffs some 600 feet above the sea and offers wonderful views across to Robin Hoods Bay.

Day 3 Today is a free day to coincide with the hotel ‘Winter Wonderland’ programme.

Day 4 After breakfast we journey to Scarborough where free time is available before returning to the hotel.

Day 5 Departing the hotel mid-morning, we journey over the Yorkshire Wolds to Beverley, where we will have a break for lunch. Departing Beverley, we travel over the Humber Bridge on our homeward journey to arrive approximately late afternoon.

Day 1 Departing our local area, we journey to Norfolk with a suitable comfort break en route before arriving at the Thursford Spectacular Show for our matinee performance. After the show, we journey to the Wensum Valley Hotel.

Day 2 A leisurely morning will be spent at the hotel to take advantage of the facilities; you may like to purchase a light lunch before departing to the Georgian town of Holt. The night time spectacle of Holt bathed under white Christmas lights is truly a sight to behold — one that draws visitors to the town from near and far to marvel at the decorated gables, roofs and window displays. Free time is available here to explore the town before returning to the hotel.

Day 3 After breakfast, we make our return journey with suitable comfort breaks en route to arrive home late afternoon.

We return to the hotel for a delicious lunch, relax around the hotel or perhaps take a coastal walk before your afternoon tea/coffee and shortbread. In the evening, test your knowledge with the big quiz of the year before your evening meal and sparkling entertainment.

Day 3 Today, we enjoy free time before your lunch at the hotel. Following lunch, you might want to hit the sales in the town (taxis into Torquay provided by the hotel) before tea/coffee and cake is served in the hotel and then its dress to impress for the big night. 2.BROCHUREACCURACYEmjayToursmakeeveryefforttoensuretheaccuracyofthebrochure information and pricing, regrettably errors do sometimes occur. You must therefore ensure you check the price and all other details of your holiday with us at the time of booking and when you receiveourconfirmationinvoice

3.OURPRICINGPOLICY Emjay Tours endeavour to ensure that the most up to date and correct prices are shown in our brochure. Occasionally, an incorrect price may be shown, due to an error. When we become aware of any such error, we will endeavour to notify you at the time of booking (if we are then aware of the mistake) or as soon as reasonably possible. We reserve the right to cancel the booking if you do not wish to accept the price which is applicable to the holiday. Local Authorities in many towns and cities throughout Europe have introduced new tourist taxes which must be paid directly to the hotel by all guests in person. These taxes are not included in our prices but we will notify you when applicable. Holiday prices include all travel, hotel accommodation and meals asspecifiedintheholidaydescriptionandVATpayableintheUKwhere applicable. The price of the holiday will not be subjected to

any surcharges except those arising from exchange rate changes, transportation including the price of fuel, air & ferry operator fares and tolls, embarkation or disembarkation fees at terminals, duties and taxes (including the rate of VAT). Even in these cases we will absorbthecostequivalenttocostofthefirst2%oftheholidayprice.Amounts more than this plus £1 administration fee and Travel Agents commission will be surcharged to you. If this means the total cost oftheholidayincreasesbymorethan8%thenyouareentitledto cancel your holiday and receive a full refund of all monies paid except any insurance premium and amendment charges. We will communicate the options with you either through email or letter, with a reminder if necessary. If you exercise the right to cancel we must receive written notice within 20 days of the date of the surcharge invoice. The currency exchange rate used in the holiday costings are based on £1.00 = €1.1220 as stated in The Express 11/11/19

4.IFYOUCHANGEYOURBOOKINGIf,afterourconfirmationhasbeenissued,youwishtochangetoanotherof our holidays or change departure date, we will do our utmost to make thechanges,butwecannotguaranteetodoso.However,notificationmustbereceivedinwritingatourofficesfromthepersonwhosignedthe booking form, at least 8 weeks before departures. This must be accompanied by a payment of £20.00 to cover our administrative costs, plus costs we incur in making the amendment.Alterations cannot be made within 6 weeks of departure and any such request for an alteration will be treated as a cancellation of the original booking and will be subject to the cancellation charges set out in paragraph below. Some arrangements cannot be changed without payingacancellationchargeofupto100%oftheticketcost.

5.TRANSFERRINGYOURBOOKINGYou can transfer your booking to somebody else but the person must satisfy all the conditions of the holiday and you must inform us either by letter or email no less than 7 days before departure. This transfer will cost £20.00 plus reasonable costs to make the transfer. You will remain responsible for ensuring payment before the balance due date. Thisisinadditionto(anddoesnotaffect)theseparateliabilityofthetransferee to us.

6.IFYOUNEEDTOCANCELYOURHOLIDAYYou or any member of your party, may cancel your holiday at any time provided the cancellation is made by the person signing the bookingformandiscommunicatedtousinwritingviatheofficewho made your original booking. You must pay cancellation charges to cover our administration costs and to compensate for the risk of us not reselling the holiday. If the holiday is resold a refund will be made.Yourcancellationwilltakeeffectfromthedateonwhichweorouragentreceiveyourwrittenconfirmationofyourcancellation.You must also return any tickets or vouchers you have received. A reduction in room occupancy may increase the charges for the remaining passengers by the application of supplements for low occupancy of rooms. Where bought in supplies, such as ferries, hotel accommodation etc have been bought in on your behalf, and where the terms and conditions of the supplier are non-refundable, these products will be charged to you at the full retail rate. If this applies, the non-refundable items will be deducted from your holiday costs and the following scale of charges will be applied to the remainder:

You may cancel your holiday without paying any termination fee before the start of the holiday, in the event of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances occurring at the place of destination or its immediate vicinity, for instance, if there are serious security problemsatthedestinationwhicharelikelytoaffectthepackage.

7. ALTERATIONS TO YOUR HOLIDAY BY USWe hope that we will not have to make any change to your holiday but, because our holidays are planned many months in advance, we sometimes do need to make minor changes. We reserve the right to do this at any time. We will let you or your booking agent know about any important changes as soon as possible, including the minimum number of passengers required on the trip. If after booking, and before departure, we make a major change to your holiday, you will have the option of withdrawing from the holiday without penalty or transferring to another holiday without any charge. In either case, we will pay you compensation, according to the scale set below. A major change includes the time of your departure or return time by more than 12 hours, a change in departure point, location of resort or type of hotel, a changeincrosschanneltravel,orspecificationofthecoach.Ifwetellyouaboutanyofthesechangesafterwehaveconfirmedyourholidaybooking (other than force majeure), you may either: •acceptthenewarrangementsofferedbyus;or•accept a replacement holiday from us of equivalent or similar standardandprice(atthedateofthechange),ifwecanofferyouone; or

8. OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOUWe accept responsibility for ensuring the holiday which you book with us is supplied as described in our publicity material and the servicesofferedreachareasonablestandardandifyouareindifficultywewillassistyou.Ifanypartofourholidaycontractisnotprovided as promised, you may terminate the contract without paying a termination fee and we will pay you appropriate compensation if thishasaffectedyourenjoymentofyourholiday.Wewillhowever,not be liable if there are any unforeseeable or unavoidable actions of a third party not connected with our travel services, or there were

unavoidable or extraordinary circumstances, or the lack of conformity is due to a traveller in the party. We accept responsibility for the acts and/or omissions of our employees, agents and suppliers except where they lead to death, injury or illness. Our liability in all cases shall be limited to a maximum of twice the value of the original holiday cost (not including insurance premiums and amendment charges). We accept responsibility for death, injury, or illness caused by the negligent acts and/or omissions of our employees or agents together with our suppliers and sub-contractors, servants and/or agents of the same whilst acting within the scope of, or during their employment in the provision of your holiday. We will accordingly pay to our clients such damages as might have been awarded in such circumstances under English Law. In respect of carriage by air, sea, tunnel and rail and the provision of accommodation our liability in all cases will be limited in the manner provided by the relevant international convention. If we make any payment to you or any member of your party for death or personal injury or illness, you will be asked to assign to us or our insurers the rights you may have to act against the person or organisation responsible for causing the death, personal injury or illness. This clause does not apply to any separate contracts that you may enter for excursions or activities during or outside of your holiday.Ifyouoranymemberofyourpartysufferdeath,illnessorinjury whilst overseas arising out of an activity which does NOT form partofyourholiday,wemayofferguidanceandwherelegalactionis contemplated and you want our assistance, you must obtain our written consent prior to any proceedings (We limit the cost of our assistance to you or your party to £5,000 per party)

9.IFYOUHAVEACOMPLAINTIf you have a problem during your holiday, please inform your Tour Manager, your driver or the relevant supplier/resort representative immediately who will endeavour to put things right. If your complaint cannot be completely resolved locally, you must complete a Holiday Report Form which can be obtained by your driver or local representative, which you should keep. Our contact number, for unresolvedcomplaintswillbeourofficenumberon01636684036.Ifyouremaindissatisfiedpleasefollowthisupwithin14daysofyourreturn home by writing to us, giving your original booking reference number and all other relevant information, including the reference of the Holiday Report Form. It is therefore a condition of this contract that you communicate any problem to the supplier of the services in question AND to our representative whilst in resort and obtain a written report form. 10.OURCOACHWe will always use our reasonable endeavours to provide a coachtothespecificationinourbrochureoradvert,butreservethe right to substitute an alternative vehicle should there be unforeseen circumstances. There is a seating plan but in some cases,operationalreasonsmayrequireacoachwithadifferentconfiguration.Wereservetherighttoalteracoachseatingplanandallocate seats other than those booked. Single passengers may be required to share a double seat with other single passengers. Whenyourbookingisconfirmed,youwillbeofferedthebestseatsthat are available at that time. If you feel that you require two seats, then these must be booked and paid for in advance, at the time of booking. If you fail to do this and it transpires that the seat allocated toyouisinsufficientforyourneedsandthereisnoalternativeseatingavailable then you will be refused access to the coach and any payments made will be liable to forfeiture.Specificseatswillnotbeallocatedoncoachesoperatingafeederservice between joining points and main holiday departure points or on coaches that carry out transfers between airports, seaports etc.

11.HOTELFACILITIESSome hotel facilities and entertainment may be withdrawn for routine maintenance or be subject to seasonal availability and provision of the facilities cannot be guaranteed. Single occupancy of rooms may be subject to a supplementary charge.

12. HEALTH AND SAFETYIn some foreign countries, standards of infrastructure, safety and hygiene may be lower than those to which we are accustomed in the UK. You should therefore exercise greater care for your own protection. There may be countries that we visit that have special medical requirements for tourists. These regulations are subject to change and our clients are responsible for complying with entry and current health requirements. If you are not sure of the health requirements for the country you are visiting, you are advised to check with your own GP before travelling. You are also advised to refertotheDepartmentofHealthleaflet“HealthAdviceforTravellers”Some people may be at risk from discomfort or deep vein thrombosis (DVT) if they remain immobile on a journey for a long period. If you are planning to undertake a journey of more than three hours, you should consult your doctor, if you have ever had DVT, pulmonary embolism, a family history of clotting conditions, cancer or treatment for cancer, stroke, and heart or lung disease or If you have had major surgery in the past three months.We reserve the right to refuse any booking in the absence of a doctor’s certificateconfirmingthatyouarefittotravel.Whereweprovidecomfort stops you are encouraged to walk around. Exercise reduces any discomfort, which may be caused by periods of immobility.SMOKING is NOT allowed on our coaches (including E-Cigarettes) and we do not allow pets or any other animals, although we accommodate registered assistance dogs, but not on overseas holidays.

13.TRAVELDOCUMENTS,ITINERARIES,PICK-UPPOINTSANDPASSPORTSFor all Continental holidays, you will require a full 10-year British Passport (machine readable) valid for a further 6 months after your holiday. If you do not hold a full British Passport or you have any doubts about your status as a resident British subject, you must check with the Embassies or Consulates of the Countries to be visitedtoconfirmthePassportorvisarequirementswhenyoubook.We cannot accept responsibility if passengers are not in possession of the correct travel documents. For full details on passport requirements, please contact ‘the identity and passport service’ on 03002220000(www.direct.gov.uk)”You are responsible for ensuring you are at the correct departure point, at the correct time and with the correct documents. Emjay Tours reserve the right to modify itineraries to conform with requests from competent authorities both within the UK and abroad.Excursions which are included in the cost of your booking are detailed on the brochure page and refunds will not be made for excursions not taken. Optional excursions booked and paid for in resort do not form part of your booking. Admission fees to buildings may not be included in the price of the holiday, please check.

14.SPECIALREQUESTSAll special needs and requests, if agreed, should be entered on the bookingformandbeincludedintheconfirmationoftheholiday.Thesecannotbeguaranteedexceptwhereconfirmedaspartofourholiday commitment to you and are detailed on your holiday booking confirmation.Wearekeentoensurethatweplanthearrangementsforyour holiday so that special needs and requests can be accommodated as far as possible. If you will need assistance, or may be unable to fully enjoy all aspects of your holiday you must tell us in advance so that we can maximise your enjoyment of the holiday. We will need to know if you will need special facilities in the hotel, taking part in the excursions orhavedifficultyboardingandtravellingonthecoachorothermeansof transport. Before booking your holiday, you should be sure that you and your party are both physically and mentally capable of completing the itinerary. If you need advice or further information either you or your booking agent should contact Emjay Tours. If you will require a special

diet please tell us at the time of booking, or as soon as you are medically advised, together with a copy of the diet.

15.PASSENGERSWITHDISABILITIESWe want everyone to enjoy our travel arrangements. We are happy to advise and assist you in choosing a suitable holiday. But, as some of the accommodation and resorts featured may not cater for even minor disabilities, it is important that, when booking, you advise us ofanydisability,specificneedorcomplexneedyoumayhaveandany special requirements that will make sure the holiday is suitable. If a passenger requires personal assistance (for example, assistance with feeding, dressing, toileting, mobilising) then this passenger must travel with an able-bodied companion or carer and written confirmationthatsuchassistancewillbeprovidedfortheentiretyof the holiday is required at the time of booking. Coach drivers/Tour Managers are unable to provide such assistance.

IMPORTANTYou must tell us if you have an existing medical condition, disability or complexneedthatmayaffectyourholidayorothergroupmembers’enjoyment of it before you book your holiday. We reserve the right to requestadoctor’scertificateconfirmingthepassengerisfittotravel.If, in our reasonable opinion, your chosen holiday is not suitable for your medical condition or disability, we reserve the right to refuse your booking. You are responsible for bringing with you the proper clothing and equipment, which we advise you about in our printed trip information. We want you to enjoy your holiday and will help you select an appropriate trip.

16.PASSENGERBEHAVIOURWe want all our customers to have a happy and carefree holiday. You areresponsibleforyourbehaviourandhygieneandtheeffectitmayhave on others. If you or any other member of your party is abusive, disruptive or behaves in a way that could cause damage or injury to othersoraffecttheirenjoymentoftheirholidayorwhichcoulddamageproperty, we have the right to terminate your contract with us and we will have no further liability or obligation to you. The coach driver/representative,ship’scaptain,orauthorisedofficialisentitledtorefuseyou boarding if in their reasonable opinion you are unacceptably under theinfluenceofdrinkordrugsoryouarebeingviolentordisruptive.Ifyou are refused boarding on the outward journey we will regard it as a cancellation by you and we will apply cancellation charges. If on your return journey, we have the right to terminate the contract with you. We also request that mobile telephones are not used on the coach.

17.TRAVELINSURANCEWe strongly advise that you take out personal travel insurance for the trip. The insurance should cover medical and repatriation costs, personal injury, loss of baggage and cancellation charges. If you do not have adequate insurance and require our assistance during your holiday, we reserve the right to reclaim from you any medical repatriation or other expenses which we may incur on your behalf which would otherwise have been met by insurers. You must advise us of your insurer, the policy number and 24 hour contact number.

18.LUGGAGEPlease restrict your luggage to a suitcase weighing no more than 20kgs per person. We cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to luggage unless through our negligence. Please do not leave valuable items in your suitcase when left on the coach. Please advise us at the time of booking if you need to take a wheelchair or rollator.
