“Inauguration of Builders club”Organized by

Programme Inauguration:

Builders club of Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science, sponsored by Department of CivilEngineering was inaugurated on 14th September 2017.The ceremony started with invocation to godalmighty. The ceremony was inaugurated by Principal, Dr. C. Yuvaraj.

It was followed by welcome address by Mr. N. Amaranatha Reddy, Asst. Professor, I\C, buildersclub. He welcomed all the dignitaries, faculty and students to the programme and expressedgratitude to the Management and Principal for giving permission and financial support to organisethe programme. He ensured that the Management will provide all facilities to students for theiroverall development. He mentioned that no other college is providing such opportunities andguidance for students. So, he wished students would have to grab all the opportunities and getsuccess in their lives.

Later Mr. P. Ashok Kumar, Member of builders’ club briefed out the vision & mission of theBuilders club and upcoming activities conducted by the club and reminded the members to makeuse of all opportunities given to them during club activities.

Dr.T. Meenambal, Professor in her address expressed that students should use this chance and club activities for their personal development, along with technical skills.

Dr. P. Perumal, Prof. & HOD., in his address expressed that MITS should develop as a institute withdifference and he ensured that the management will provide all facilities to students for their overalldevelopment. Also, he complemented club members for their support and service extended fortaking initiative of establishment of Builders club at MITS.

Principal, Dr. C. Yuvaraj wished the students to utilize the platform of Builders club forinstitutionalizing innovative thoughts along with professional knowledge. Principal Sir in hisinaugural address mentioned about the importance of such clubs. He specified that each buildersclub member should "think beyond limit" and bring out innovative ideas. He appreciated the effortstaken up by builders’ club members and suggested that club activities should be arranged beyondthe college campus also. He assured financial assistance for these activities with in permissible limit& wished them with bright future.

Valedictory Function:

The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Mr. P. Uday Kiran Naik, Member, Builders ClubMITS. He thanked our Correspondent, Chairman, Principal, Head of the Department, VicePrincipals, Deans, Staff members, Chief Coordinator of Clubs, Club Coordinator, StudentCoordinators, members and the students of the Department for having extended their support inconducting this programme in a grand manner.
