    Usha Breco Limited (UBL) was established in the year 1969 as a jointventure between Usha Martin Industries Limited, India,the largest wirerope manufacturers in Asia and British Ropeway Engineering Co. Ltd.(BRECO), U.K.

    With High level of expertise in the field of Passenger Ropeways, Cablewaysand Industrial Ropeways and by adopting best prevailing Design Engineeringand Modern Techniques in Operations and Maintenance, UBL has emerged asa leader in the field of Aerial Ropeways in India.

    Usha Breco Limited was established primarily as a ropeway engineeringcompany. The Company proceeded to execute a number of industrialRopeway Projects up to early nineteen nineties. Later, the Companygradually evolved itself into a passenger transportation company, as itrealized that there was ample scope for various transportation systemsincluding transportation by road and Passenger Ropeways on BOOT basis. Itdesigned, constructed and commissioned its first passenger ropeway toMansadevi Temple at Haridwar in 1981, the first ropeway BOOT project inthe country.

    History:

    Maa Mahakalika Temple, a famous Hindu and Muslim pilgrimcentre, is located at Pavagadh in Panchmahals District. Situatedamid dense forest cover on a cliff, the temple is believed to beone of the 51 Shakti Peeths.

    Mr. Rakesh Sharma

    Mr Rakesh Sharma has been associated with Usha Breco Ltd since October

    2000. He brings with him expertise in the matters of organization, strategy,tactics, training, motivation, morale and tenacity. Rakesh has been theExecutive Director of the company before taking over as its ManagingDirector.

    With twenty six years experience in the Indian Armed Forces, Mr. Sharmahas the ideal mix of maturity, understanding, foresight and aggression.

    Besides attending numerous relevant command and management courses atmiddle and senior level in the Armed Forces, he has obtained MastersDiploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from the premier

    Symbiosis Management Institute in Pune, India.

    Mr. S. K. Barasia

    Mr. S. K. Barasia, Director, is a Fellow Member of The Institute of Cost andWork Accountants of India. He has over 50 years of experience in Accounts,Finance and Administration. He is on the Board of Directors of severalcompanies and presently serving as the Whole-time Director of Usha MartinVentures Limited.

    Mr. Barasia started his career in the year 1955. He had worked withHINDALCO from 1962 to 1974 as Accounts Executive.     Mr. Pranay Vakil

    Involved in real estate business for over 25 years with basic education andtraining in Accountancy (CA) and Law (LLB).Presently, the Founder Chairman

    Mr. Arun Seth

    Mr. Arun Seth has been the Chairman of India Operations at Alcatel-Lucent,S.A. since July 2011. Mr. Seth served as the Chief Executive Officer of BritishTelecom in India with responsibilities for the SAARC region. He served as aSenior Vice President in the UB Group in their Corporate Managementdivision in Bangalore and Delhi. He headed the commercial operations ofUnitel Communications, the Telecom arm of the UB Group for five years. Hehas previously worked with HCL and United Breweries. He worked for BTGroup in a variety of positions over 14 years, having set up the BT Indiaoffice in 1995 as the First Country Manager. He set up the JVs with Bharti inmobiles, VSATs and internet.
