Welcome

1.) Click the Employee Placement System link.

3.) Enter your GMID.

4.) Enter your Password.

5.) Click the Submit button.

Enter a New Application

1.) Click on the Area Hire or Extended Area Hire link. (Area Hire is used here)

The contact number is only used for NEPC purposes and is not considered your formal GM contact number. Please provide any updates by going to My Socrates, My Service tab, Personal, Phone number update.

2.) Click the checkbox next to one or more plants.

3.) Click the Save button.

Note: All SPO production jobs are considered non-core. Therefore, non-SPO production employees are unable to transfer into SPO production jobs. Non-SPO skilled trades employees can transfer to applicable SPO skilled trades jobs.

4.) Click the Close Window link.

View and Print Application

1.) Click the View and Print link.

3.) Click the Close window link to return to the previous screen.

2.) Click the Print link to print the Application.

Note: All SPO production jobs are considered non-core. Therefore, non-SPO production employees are unable to transfer into SPO production jobs. Non-SPO skilled trades employees can transfer to applicable SPO skilled trades jobs.

Cancel Application

1.) Click the Cancel application link.

2.) The “Application was cancelled” message is displayed.

The contact number is only used for NEPC purposes and is not considered your formal GM contact number. Please provide any updates by going to My Socrates, My Service tab, Personal, Phone number update.

Contact NEPC

1.) Click the Contact NEPC link.

2.) Enter your Name, Phone No., Email Address, and Description of your issue.

3.) Click the Submit button.
