What is the right age to start learning an art form?
How does one decide which art form to pursue?
Does one know in the beginning, that this would not be a passing fancy which will be discontinued mid-way?
How do parents decide which art form a child should pursue?
Why parents should decide it at all?
How can we be really sure that pursuing one particular art form is a better option than the other one?

In academics, I chose pure science / commerce / medical after I got
primary education in all subjects…..

Our Vision & Mission
UAS has been established to provide exposure of various forms of performing, fine and visual art forms, to the
society, i.e. through education, therapy, entertainment and career options.
According to the national Curriculum Framework of NCERT India: “ Art as a subject at all stages is recommended,
covering all the major spheres, i.e. music, dance, visual arts and theatre”.

Our HistoryTHE HISTORY OF UAS
Did you ever have to go for art classes, just because your mother wanted you to, and because the teacher lived right around the corner?
Did you attend music classes because your mother wanted you to learn? Only to discover years later that it is theatre that truly inspires you?
Someone else in our team never got a chance to learn anything at all, because his parents thought it was a waste of time. Now he is trying his best to make up for the lost years in his childhood…
OUR CAUSE
One day one of us cracked and decided that he wanted to spread Art. At the time it was just a random idea, but we have come a long way since then – from a nascent thought to an actual registered NGO. Our purpose is to make all kinds of art available to everyone, so that you can choose to follow what you really love, because it inspires you, not because it’s around the corner.
We expose you to 150 different art forms, and at the end of the day, you make your choice about what you really want to learn. We are also aware of the special needs of special age groups (the children and the elderly), and have come up with workshops and teaching techniques that identify their needs.
