Before you begin with the installation:

Choose http://finder.tooway-instal.com/fixe/pages/index.html and select the place wherethe system shall be installed, all necessary technical information will be showed on thescreen. Your elevation ( angle from dish in vertical move) , the azimuth (angel of dish inhorizontal move, seen from the North) and the color of the beam you need to choose.

Check in advance if the direction you need for reception of 9 East is free of obstacles orchoose a different location. Also see if there is possible distortions’ issue like a GSMtransmitter, and if so place the dish on an other side of the house so the house isbetween the dish and the distortion.

Give your position or city and search for 9e Euro bird 9A KA sat.

Be aware that the 2 arms from the dish are aligned with the 4 bolts at the backside onthe circle with degrees that is given as LNB Skew [?] on the screen from the internet.The arrow on the screen is given the direction seen from the backside of the dish , so likeon this example you need to turn the dish around its axis to the left, or like on thispicture in Madeira at the front : to the right !!!. Normal it should be no difference howthe skew is set while the signal is circular, but in praxis we find out that in worse casesituations the skew can be the difference between working or not working.

Find as close as you can the position 9 East, Align the elevation on 31.82 by means ofthe scale partitioning on the side of the Mount. The inside part of the Mount, whichcan be seeing true the hole, is the marker for the angle.

Connect the coaxial cable to the TX connector (at the earth screw side !) from the Tria(BUC) and your modem. Connect the modem with the blue UTP cable to your laptop.

Check your computer for DHCP ; start – configuration screen - network en internet –network status - lan connection – properties – internet protocol version 4 – properties –automatic assign a IP address.

Start the Internet browser. Tap in the browser 192.168.100.1 /install and follow theinstructions.

Choose the spot you need and has found at KA sat finder, (in this case 1) and go to theinstallation mode. Go further with fine adjusting the dish; the lnb (Tria-BUC) in the dishgives a low intermitted beep. Adjust the dish carefully until the beep become constantand highest of frequency (tone altitude). Then turn the brackets fixed on the mast anduse the left side fine adjust to adjust the dish direction optimally on the highest tone. Usethe right fine adjusts to maximise the elevation and fixes all brackets.

Check all alignments once again, possibly correct something and enter the home.

Check if your receiving SNR is at least 10 dB. Under 10 dB it is not possible to activatethe modem. Start again the alignment until you have at least 10 dB.

When it is impossible to get the SNR over the 10 dB you need to use our 120cm dish.

Finish alignment on the laptop and get 192.168.100.1 on the browser to see if all is OK.

If one of these is not green you must check the cable, the Tria or the modem.

While doing this the upper led on the modem should burn now and 2nd led of the modemmust blink. These led must be burning after a time also, which can last sometimes. Butthese led must burn ALWAYS on and not flashing. As long as the 2nd led not iscontinuously burning, you start up again because the dish position is not good. As soonas the 2nd led is burning continuously, the 3rd led must blink as a sign that reception isdone and the modem is sending. Checking Tria:

You can see that the modem is ranging, the satellites at the right corner are moving. Assoon as the modem has find the exact frequencies, only the last dot is orange. Notbecause of our football team, but because the activation is not done yet, and there is anIP address, but no internet!

As soon as this happens and all 4 leds are burning continuously, start up the laptop againso that you get this new IP address. The Internet browser starts on and if everything iswell You come automatically in an activation application site from Skylogic . Now theEthernet led 4 and 3e the led together will blink.

When you are convinced that you have the right subscription, ( B2B all Gatesare open and have a fixed IP address, and consumer subscriptions have not )you can start with the activation of the modem.

Our provider range is always 993 for consumers and 1256 for professional subscriptions.Fill in your code and finish the procedure and again starts up the laptop.

Now you should have Internet, if not start up your laptop again.

If your modem is not responding anymore you need to cut of power for more than 5minutes and then put it on again.

If You do not come automatically in the activation page, then go to http://172.20.80.64.

Use http://checkportal.skylogicnet.com for control, of your alignments direct on yourlaptop, and for control the used amount of data and for doing a speed test. All otherspeedtest are not working !!!!!

IF YOU ALIGNED THE DISH PERFECTLY, BUT HAVE DOUBT ABOUT THIS, DO NOT MAKEOVER ALL THE ALIGNEMENTS, BUT STARTS WITH 192.168.100.1/INSTALL AND KEEPYOU’RE HAND A FEW SECONDS FOR THE TRIA, AND THEN THE BEEP WILL BE THERE,AND CONTROL IS EASY BY FORCING THE DISH A LITTLE.
