In the fourth chapter of Dragonwings Moon Shadow’s father saves Black Dog. Black Dog was about to be killed in an alley way. Then Moon Shadow’s father makes a very loud high pitch sound. The men that are about to kill Black Dog were so excited that they mistook it for a siren. They scrambled away thinking the police were on to them and Moon Shadow and his father got the chance to take Black Dog home. 5
