In typography, leading refers to the distance between the baselines of successive lines of type. The term originated in the days of hand-typesetting, when thin strips of lead were inserted into the formes to increase the vertical distance between lines of type.

LEADING

EMem is from M. Originally the unit was derived from the width of the capital "M" in the given typeface. This unit is the same for all fonts at a given point size.In CSS, using a relative unit of measurement (such as the em measurement), rather than a fixed one such as pixels ("px") or points.

SERIF/SANS

Helvetica is a widely used sans-serif typeface developed in 1957 by Swiss typeface designer Max Miedinger with Eduard Hoffmann.

JOHNSTONJohnston (or Johnston Sans) is a humanist sans-serif typeface designed by and named after Edward Johnston. It is well known for its use by Transport for London.

Johnston's former student Eric Gill also worked on the development of the typeface,[1] which was later to influence his own Gill Sans typeface, produced 1928–32.
