Piping Training - Part - 6Process Plant Project Secquence Chart, Piping
Notes:
Instructions:
This Piping, Process Plant Project Sequence "Chart" is a broad generalization of the major project activities by the different Piping groups and is not intended to be an absolutely detailed match for every project. It was prepared specifically for use as a guide in this Training Program for Piping Leads.
To use the Chart on screen go to the first page of the Chart, Place the courser in "Cell" C-1 and then go to "Windows (in the tool bar above) and click on "Split" This will freeze the left-hand "B" column. Then you can scroll right to any page and you will still see the discipline designations in the "B" column. On print-Out Column "B" will be repeted on each page.
The major Piping Engineering and Design sub-groups stretch across the pages horizontally. Their individual activities and tasks remain in their individual horizontal bar. Joint activities are shown grouped vertically.
The vertical fields are not intended nor should they be interpretive as implying any unit of time such as Hours, Days, Weeks, Months or Years. They are only there for the presentation of the data.
These "Notes and Instructions" along with the attached "Chart" are "Locked" and Password protected. To make any changes you must "Unlock" the individual document first. After the changes have been completed you should relock the document. The "password" for both documents is located in "Cell" CO-1 of the Chart file.
