Kern ParkElementary School
Focusing on articulating façade design this elementary school was not to de-tract from the existing park it is intend-ed for. The school has different learn-ing zones that range from large group auditorium space all the way to one on one teacher student breakaway rooms.
[ [
The façade has many components that are separated in some zones and is layered together in others. Students in this school are encouraged to use the different break out spaces as they work with each other. This school fa-çade represents the different way stu-dents learn.

Tower Offi ce Redesign: Aon Center, Chicago[ [
Corporate workplace design has been constantly evolving as technology ad-vances. Our project was to research and redesign the 45th offi ce fl oor of the Aon center, Chicago, IL. My part-ner (Caroline Kruis) and I used a hexa-gon shape to orient our fl oor plan to break the standard orthogonal grid. This allowed for a more dynamic offi ce space where workers had the freedom to work in a variety of spaces whether it be solitary or as part of a team Board / Training
