FISANTEKRAAL: ELECTRIFICATION BEGINS
Lighting
coming to
settlement
ESM ERASMUS
A
total of 215 familieswho have been liv-
ing in an informal settlement in
Fisantekraal for many years without
electricity, shall finally see the light later
this year.
The planning of the R17,111 million elec-
trification project is now in its final stage
and construction is about to commence, the
City of Cape Town announced in a media re-
lease last week.
The item also served in front of the Sub-
council 7 (Koeberg) for notification at its
monthly meeting last Monday.
Eskom earlier raised a concern that the
planned electrical network to this informal
settlement or part of it worth in excess of
R10 million may be dismantled within less
than three years, as the people in the infor-
mal settlement may be moved into the
planned Garden Cities formal development,
and that it may be regarded as wasteful ex-
penditure.
Infrastructure
However, the executive mayor of the City
of Cape Town, Patricia de Lille, supported
the decision that the project should go
ahead.
The 215 families will be moved by the
Citys Human Settlements Directorate to a
temporary relocation area for the construc-
tion phase as the position of some structures
in Fisantekraal are impeding the installa-
tion of electricity infrastructure.
The construction of the temporary reloca-
tion area commenced last week already.
The relocation of the impeding structures
will start from the beginning of April.
Once all the families have been relocated
to the relocation area, the clearing and es-
tablishing of the access roads will com-
mence. This is planned to take place in the
second half of April.
This is necessary so that Eskom can pro-
vide access roads before they can proceed.
It is planned that access roadswill be cleared
inMay, so that the installation of the electri-
cal network can start.
It is hoped that the electrification project
will be completed inNovember orDecember
this year, said Tandeka Gqada, mayoral
committee member for human settlements
of the City of Cape Town.
Quality of life
The agreement between the Citys elec-
tricity services and Eskom is only for the
provision of service connects to the dwell-
ings in the informal settlement.
It will significantly improve the quality
of life of the people of this area.
We are very excited at this development
and know that it will mean a significant im-
provement in the lives of the people of this
area, Gqada said.
Whenacommunityhas access to electric-
ity, they are able to live better, children are
able to study longer, families can keep their
food longer and eat more healthy the bene-
fits are endless, said Gqada.
Gerhard Fourie, chairperson of Subcoun-
cil 7 (Koeberg), said the subcouncil is very
happy that the project has finally come off
the ground.
People will be inconvenienced, but it
holds a lot of benefits, especially for thepoor-
er section of Fisantekraal, specifically those
families, he said.
DAriawynlandgoed buite Durbanville gehou is. Nog fotos op bl.5. FOTO: CARINA ROUX

DESIRE RORKE
By identifying and rolling out several pub-
lic projects, the Bergdal Subcouncil has
made a notable dent in the areas high un-
employment numbers.
An estimated 800 jobs were created over
only a couple of months by means of na-
tional governments Extended Public
Works Programme (EPWP), subcouncil
manager Grant Twigg revealed at last
weeks subcouncil meeting.
This programme is aimed at providing
income relief through temporary and per-
manent work for the unemployed to carry
out socially useful activities and accord-
ing to Grant, the City of Cape Town is one
of the better performing municipalities in
this regard.
Phase two of the programme was
launched in April 2009 at the University
of theWesternCape, with the goal of creat-
ing two million full time jobs for the poor
in South Africa.
This is hoped to contribute to halving
unemployment in the country by 2014,
through thedelivery of public and commu-
nity services.
According to Twigg, the local depart-
ment within a city is expected to identify
the project and fund the capital aspect of
such.
National government will in turn subsi-
dise the labour component.
We are encouraged by the executive
mayor Patricia de Lille to roll-out such
project to the maximum in our different
areas, he said.
Projects rolled out in Kraaifontein and
Brackenfell since January this year in-
clude sewer and manhole inspection and
maintenance, housing maintenance,
cleaning and greening, health andhygiene
work and waste collection.
The majority of these projects will use
unskilled and semi-skilled workers in
tasks such as cleaning, planting andmain-
tenance.
For instance, the team in the water and
sanitation department will locate sewers
and manholes, inspect them for storm wa-
ter ingress and fat build-up and then clean
them. Another team will locate and test
the valves of fire hydrants.
Cleaning teams will clean and maintain
sports grounds and public ablutions,
while solid waste teams will clean the
streets.
The next roll-outs are scheduled for Ju-
ly, Twigg said.
Projects dent unemployment
Shock rape of 2yearold
An 18-year-old Kraaifontein man was
arrested for allegedly raping a two-year-
old girl last week.
The rape allegedly took place last
Monday, whereafter the man apparently
confessed after cross-examination by the
Family Violence, Child Protection and
Sexual Offences Unit on Wednesday.
The suspect apparently lives next
door to the victim and this was alleged-
ly the second time.
Verandering van straatname turksvy vir baie
ROWENA HENDRICKS
Die verandering van talle bekende hoof-
straat- en plekname, wat verlede Vrydag
deur die Kaapse stadsraad aangekondig is,
is n turksvy vir baie.
Volgens Patricia de Lille, burgemeester
van Kaapstad, weerspiel di benamings-
proses die stadsraad se verbintenis tot ver-
soening, regstelling en n gedeelde toekoms.
Tweevandie bekende straatnamewat ver-
ander gaan word, is Hendrik Verwoerd-ry-
laannaUysKrige-rylaanenModderdamweg
Photography in Loevenstein was nie bewus
van die straatnaamsverandering nie. Ek is
nou bietjie meer as n jaar hier. Ek sal moet
iets met my gebeur. Dit beteken ek moet my
adres oral verander, soos op my webtuiste,
ke-ondernemings in Hendrik Verwoerd-ry-
laan n petisie onderteken en ingedien teen
die naamsverandering na Uys Krige-ry-
laan, s Lise van Schalkwyk, wie se man sy
eie onderneming, Jgn Cooling CC, bedryf.
taan as Robert Sobukweweg bekend sal
hyhiervanhoor.

vanjaar sluit.
Wanneer dt gebeur sal daar vir klinte
van Sothemba-vigsaksie in Bellville geen
vangnet wees nie. Die kans is goed dat n
anderuitweg ooknie betyds sal komnie.Dt
is die harde realiteit wat werknemers van
di maatskaplike diensorganisasie die af-
gelope tyd in die gesig staar.
N 20 jaar se ondersteuning aan MIV-po-
sitiewe en vigslyers, sal Sothemba oor biet-
jie meer as vier maande vir die laaste keer
vigspasinte enhul gesinnekanondersteun
en oplei.
n Ongelooflike lojaliteit bestaan by ons
drie permanente werknemers, s Elmien
Grobbelaar, bestuurder. Hulle is veral be-
kommerd oor die mense wat van Sothemba
se dienste gebruik maak. Ons weet nie of
daar dienste iswat di leemte gaan vul nie.
Elmien s genfekteerde persone neem
verhouding verlore sal gaan.
n skok.
2013. Ons het deurentyd fondse probeer be-
Verlede Desember is weer n projeksie ge-
doen en in Januarie is n strategiese beplan-
ningsessie gehou.
Elmien s tot drie jaar gelede was befond-
spreek n spesiale fokusgebiedvandie staat.
klinte enmaakhulle steedsdaagliks nver-
skil.

spend their Saturday volunteering at Shi-

No task was too small or mundane for
these enthusiastic helpers who literally
rolled up their sleeves to get the job done.
More than half the population does not
have the resources to provide for them-
selves or their families. Shiloh Relief exists
for this very purpose, says Shiloh spokes-
person Estelle Veldman.
According to her hundreds of families de-
pend onmonthly aid from their fully opera-
tional distribution warehouse situated in
Brackenfell.
By supplying clothing, monthly grocery
hampers, homeware ormedical equipment,
we strive to uplift and restore those in need
in a dignified manner. It was humbling to
see the community joining hands and tak-
ing a stand against poverty and the oppres-
sion it brings, she says.
Shiloh Relief acts as the conduit between
the retail sector, the general public, local
upliftment organisations and ultimately,
the underprivileged.
We are totally reliant on the involve-
ment of the local community, whether for
funds, donations in kinds and even their
time.Great amounts of goodsmove through

Sewe belangrike
aspekte in n huwelik
I
belangrike aspekte in n romantiese
verhouding of n huwelik.
Die eerste aspek is di van volwassen-
heid. Natuurlik verskil twee mense in n
verhouding ten opsigte van verskeie
aspekte soos agtergrond, persoonlikheid,
belangstellings en standpunte. Wanneer
jy toelaat dat hierdie verskille in die
verhouding oorheers, dan ontstaan daar
spanning. Twee mense in n verhouding
behoort die volwassenheid te h om
mekaar te akkommodeer en te respek-
teer.
doodsteek in menige verhouding.
Enigeen behoort in n verhouding sy
of haar gevoelens, bekommernis, aspira-
sowel as luister.
mense is in n verhouding om as n span
huwelik is soos twee bome in n tuin. As
Jy moet by jou geliefde die nodige
ondersteuning kry. Indien jy dit nie by
n ander plek gaan soek.
ondersteuning nodig. n Huwelik is nie
Laastens moet daar liefde wees. Sonder
liefde is n romantiese verhouding n
barre landskap sonder ren. Liefde is
seker die grootste krag in die heelal.
Liefde maak alles moontlik. Liefde maak
aanraking moontlik, laat jou toe om te
vergewe, gee aan jou verhouding n
kwaliteit van vreugde en vrede en
intimiteit.

A skateboarding task team was formed by
the City of Cape Town to cater for the need
of skateboarders around the city.
According to Brett Herron, mayco mem-
ber for transport, roads and stormwater, the
task teamwants to open the channels of com-
municationbetweenaffectedparties to solve
mutual issues.
In doing so we want to develop a compre-
hensive strategy to ensure the integration of
skateboarding as a mode of transport and a
form of recreation.
He says this strategy will consist of the
identification of skating facilities and the in-
frastructure requirements of skatingwithin
the city, the formulation of amutually agree-
able policy for the regulation of skateboard-
ing, and the implementation of practical
steps that accommodate the needs of both
skaters and the general public.
It is with great optimism that I greet the
formation of this task team.
I believe that this forum gives us every
chance of finding common ground between
the city, skateboarders and the non-skate-
boarding public, Herron said.
Marco Morgan, speaking on behalf of the
National Skate Collective, haswelcomed the
positive approach taken by the city in this
regard.
He and the rest of the team representing
the skating community, are looking forward
to the imminent commencement of sched-
uled monthly meetings.

Doing sit-ups, push-ups and other body
strengthening exercises has become sec-
ond nature to the Teen Trojan Warriors
of Durbanville Childrens Home.
This past weekend six teenagers from
the facility qualified for the final rounds
at Ratanga Junction with the hope of
making it to the Trojan Warrior live
shows.
Trojan Warriors chief executive offic-
er and founder, Bernadette Beyer says
that this pastweekend consisted of physi-
cal fitness and camera tests.
We really just wanted to check and see
whether people were fit enough and if
they could speak in front of a camera.
Of the six that made it to the finals,
three qualified for the live shows thatwill
take place in June this year.
Beyer who will be remembered for her
role as Diamond in the popular Gladia-
tors TV show says that she aims to give
back to the community by sharing her fit-
ness passion with them.
Weve spent threemonths training the
childrenwho qualified for the live shows.
I want this to be a continuous thing, be-
cause its a way of empowering them for
the future and because fitness is so im-
portant.
Fitness really teaches you to over-
come and to fight for what you want in
life.
Beyerbelieves thatwith these skills the
children will be able to get more out of
life than they bargained for.

All the plates of cold food shes fed her hus-
band have finally paid off for an avid cook
from Century City.
Her colourful blog that contains a variety
of recipes, photos andwriting
entries brought smiles and
accolades to Anel Potgieter,
when she recentlywon the lo-
cal food blog award in theEat
Outmagazine Dstv Food Net-
work competition.
Many will recall Anel be-
ing voted off the reality TV
show Master Chef last year.
I was incredibly de-
pressed after the rejection ep-
isode. I made it to the top 35,
but that was just not good
enough. I took it very serious-
ly and felt completely reject-
ed, she recalls.
She believes that Master
Chef was the catalyst event
for her to start her blog and
win this award.
After the show I ate Zoo cookies for
weeks. I woke up one morning and decided
that that was enough and that I needed to
write about food where no one could criti-
cise it. Thats how my blog www.lifeisazoo-
biscuit.com started.
An anonymous person to whom Anel is
grateful, nominated her blog for the award.
About the awards ceremony she tells of
how overwhelmed she was.
I never thought that I would inspire peo-
ple. I was up against a big blogger, and then
they announced that my blog meant a lot to
the food industry. I was literally crying the
whole time.
Eat Outs content director
Anelda Greeff says that the
award for the best local food
blog recognises the vital role
that independent bloggers
play in promoting small pro-
ducers and growing the local
food industry. Were thrilled
that Anel walked away with
this years award, as shes a
bundle of joy and energy, and
shares her love for food and
cooking generously.
Anel says that her husband
is so happy, because hes had
to eat cold food for a long
time.
Ive been taking photos of
the plates of food that Ive pre-
pared for him. And most times the light or
angles not good enough, then I have to re-
take the pictures.
She believes that this is just the start and
says thathernext bigmission is tomake sau-
sages.
I really cant thinkof ahigher calling, nor
greater pleasure than to cook and share reci-
pes.

Sanral, city toll dispute arises again
Despite a pending review in the high court
and a previous agreement not to do so, the
South African National Roads Agency (San-
ral), gave the City of Cape Town, notice of
intent to start work.
InNovember 2011, in response to the citys
urgent interdict application, Sanral agreed
that it would take no further steps towards
implementing the toll road project pending
the citys review application being heard
and that it would provide the city with 45
days notice of its intention to start working
on the toll project.
Suchnotificationwas received on 6March
2013, which means that Sanral could com-
mence work on the project by 20 April 2013
without first resolving the citys concerns.
The city does not believe that Sanral has
been transparent in its engagement with the
city and hence we will ask the court to com-
pel Sanral to provide all information neces-
sary regarding this project as amatter of ur-
gency. This will allow the review process to
be concluded fairly and speedily, said coun-
cillor Brett Herron, mayoral committee
member for transport, roads and stormwa-
ter.
According to Herron, Sanral has thus far
refused to share information relating to the
cost of the tollroads, themagnitudeof the toll
fees and impact on road users with the city.
The city doesnotwant a similar situation
to arise here that arose in Gauteng, that the
toll roadwas built before residents had a full
understanding of the fees and cost implica-
tions, he said.
The abovementioned court application to
review thedecisionsof Sanral and theminis-
ters of transport and environment, which
will make the toll roads possible, was made
to the Western Cape High Court in March
last year.
This review has not yet been concluded
and the city believes that Sanrals decision
to go aheadwith this project before the court
has decided to the review application, un-
dermines the right of the city and its people
to have the court determine the lawfulness
of the project before it commences.
In its notice to the city on 6 March, Sanral
indicated its intention to conclude a conces-
sion contract with the preferred bidder the
Protea Parkways Consortium or if neces-
sary the reserve bidder, at an unspecified
time after 20 April 2013.
Sanral has also notified the city that it in-
tends commencing with construction work,
but it refuses to tell the city what work it
plans to do, or when it will do it.
In turn Sanral, on Friday stated that it
never said it intends to start with the project
or to conclude the concession contract on the
20 April 2013.
Sanral, through its lawyers, did send a
letter to the city on 6 March 2013 notifying
it of its intention to take steps to advance or
implement the N1/N2 Toll Highway
Project, a statement read.

EarthHour
loses sparkle
in the dark
Those of us who honoured Earth Hour
Saturday night by switching off our
lights, may have found that it was
probably one of the longest hours this
year.
Uniting people to protect the planet
seemed to lose its glamour after about
half an hour.
One is not equipped for a power outage
any more, even when created by your
own free will. After about 15 minutes, the
romantic atmosphere created by all the
candles in the house started to wear off.
Then the urge for coffee kicks in, oh
yes, but we cant put the kettle on. And
the small gas stove used during the last
season of load shedding, is packed away
somewhere where one would definitely
not find it in the dark. Especially not
with the torch batteries that have run
down for no reason.
Sooo what shall we do then? Watch a
bit of TV? Or not. That also operates on
electricity, remember? Half an hour to go.
What do people who can only rely on
candle or paraffin lamp power? Play
cards? (Where did we put those again?)
They probably just sit down and chat.
Do families still have simple conversa-
tions or does it interfere with their TV or
cellphone time. Now 20 minutes to go
20 minutes to ponder on the real value of
electricity, our dependence on it and
also what it took away from us. Weve
given too much power away, it seems,
and that does humankind no good, never
mind the planet.
Wees sterk en hou
goeie moed! Ja,

If people bothered to take
analytical notice, one will find
trolley transporters do not
stand and beg or become a
nuisance at your doorstep. All
they are doing is desperately
trying in another way like me
and you to make a living with
the end survival strategy to
put food on the table.
The latest complaint now is
these trolleys transporters are
an obstacle in the road and
therefore should be banned
from our highways and by-
ways.
Even better, the trolleys are
used to transport stolen
property and therefore another
justification call to ban the
trolleys from the neighbour-
hood.
If that is the case, then we
have to ban all modes of
transport as criminals may get
away.
The other issue is the
ownership of that trolley.
If a company can positively
identify particular trolleys due
to a proper identification
process then by all means let
the wheels of justice turn.
I appeal to people to donate
trolleys to justified, identified
users in our never-ending
quest for employment, where
the donated trolley is properly
registered, marked and num-
bered to an identified user
with a code of conduct.

Much has been written and
reported in this newspaper and
other news media regarding
motorists who disobey stop
signs and red traffic lights and
I share the sentiment of the
writer of last weeks article.
(Please stop your car at the
stop signs, Tygerburger, 20
March.)
The City of Cape Town has a
plan in place to recruit more
traffic inspectors for the
northern suburbs, but this is a
long way off.
It may be time that we who
are concerned and who obey
traffic laws, record the registra-
tion numbers of the offenders,
together with the time and
place of the occurrence and the
Traffic Department provide an
Makedatabase of
offender registration
After reading your article in
TygerBurger of Wednesday 20
March 2013 about the alarming
amount of traffic around Gene
Louw Primary, it brought me
to the email I sent to Gerhard
Fourie of Subcouncil 7 last
year.
We have been living in
Vygeboom for the past 24 years.
In that time we have seen
Durbanville expand to meet
Brackenfell. Development just
kept on growing, yet no one
ever thought of another outlet
to Durban Road, except Vyge-
boom Road.
The completion of De Villiers
Road has been on the cards
ever since Cobble Walk was
built.
Now with the growth of the
school from 750 pupils to 1550,
maybe this should be brought
to the councillors attention
again.
My husband has on many
occasions asked cars to stop, so
that my son may enter the road
in the mornings. You should
see how drivers behave in the
morning and evening down our
road.
On one occasion my son
pulled out of our driveway. A
very rude lady, coming up the
hill from the traffic light, laid
on her hooter, shouted at him
and overtook him just to be one
car ahead of him.
In another situation a police
vehicle was called out, whether
it was an accident or a burgla-
ry. There was nowhere for this

Lucy doesnt mind not having breasts so
much, but it is walking around bald that
really irritates her.
Lucy Greenwood who lives in Edge-
mead was first diagnosed with breast
cancer in 2006.
I received the news just before the
Easter weekend and that following week
my left breast was removed, says the
outgoing 43-year-old.
At that time shewasworking as a driv-
er.
When she went back to work her em-
ployer gave her the option of taking an
office job instead, which she did.
I hated it. It was very precise and ad-
ministrative. I wasnt allowed to moti-
vate and encourage the people around
me. I wasnt allowed to be what God
made me to be, she says.
It was this need to be of help to others
that saw her get involved as a volunteer
during the xenophobic incidents in Du
Noon.
Today she works as a full-time field
worker for Salt, a non-profit organisa-
tion that helps with the vast needs of the
local communities of Table View, Mil-
nerton, Du Noon and Joe Slovo settle-
ments.
Salt currently supplies 900 food par-
cels everymonth to a number of projects
and clinics which include the Keep a
child in School project, Child Welfare,
TLC (helping street children) and other
community based charity projects.
I am on the road a lot, and network
between clinics and people who need
help. Im really all over the place, Lucy
says.
In a community of 60 000 there are
manypeoplewhoare taking strain.They
can go to the clinic but their needs are
not necessarily being met. I try to find
those people and help them, she elabo-
rates.
And sometimes it is not a big thing
they need.
As is the case with so much in life, it
is a matter of perception and context.
What might not be something big for
Lucy, could make her a miracle work-
er in the eyes of those she helps.
It is Lucys kind heart to continuously
beof service to others, thathasprompted
Colleen Pietersen (founder of TLC), to
start an initiative to help Lucy, after her
cancer returned last year.
She received chemotherapy yester-
day but here she is, ready to go to work
today, Colleen says, pointing to her
dear friend whose right breast has also
now been removed.
I have known many people with can-
cer but Lucy has really touched my
heart. She is such a humble sweetie-pie.
She always gives of herself in helping
others.
God has placed it on my heart to do
something for this woman who has im-
pacted the community so much and I
want her to live the lifestyle that God
wants for her. She shouldnt have to
shoulder the financial burden of the ter-
rible sickness alone, Colleen says.
Followingher secondmastectomy, Lu-
cy also had to have her gall bladder re-
moved. The port inserted into her chest
to facilitate the easier administering of
the chemotherapy saw her developing a
blood clot as well.
The end of last year was rough...
When asked to elaborate on her practi-
cal and financial needs, the tears start
flowing from Lucys eyes.
It is because the attention is on me,
Im not used to it, she explains.
VAnyonewould like to help Lucywith
her medical bills or any other donation,
can contact Colleen (083 658 4032) or Lu-
cy (072 229 7188) or lucy@saltprojects.

rekordhoogte kakiebos nie.
Alwyn Muller van Uitzicht het die ka-
kiebossaad uit die Vrystaat saamge-
bring toe hy ses jaar gelede Kaap toe ge-
Alwyn ges.
kiebos (tagetes minuta) gewild as aro-
matiese olie in insekteweerders en die
behandeling van siektes soos pokke, oor-
pyn en verkoue. Dit het ook allerlei an-
der gesondheidsvoordele, ondermeer as
anti-inflammatoriese middel.
Volgens Wikipedia is die plant oor-
spronklik van Suid-Amerika en het dit
Suid-Afrika gedurende die Tweede Vry-
heidsoorlog binnegekom toe dit saam
met voer uit Argentini hier aangeland
het.

The City of Cape Town encourages all
applicants on the councils database to
update their personal details at one of the
Citys Housing Estate Offices.
As part of our commitment towards
building aCaringCity that creates oppor-
tunities for its residents, the city uses all
resources at its disposal to provide as
many housing opportunities as possible
for those that have applied to us, said
Tandeka Gqada, mayoral committee
member for human settlements.
It is imperative that the city has up-
dated contact details for applicants so
that they can be contacted should a suita-
ble dwelling become available.
All applicants are encouraged to visit
their nearest housing office where city
staff will assist them inupdating their de-
tails.
Applicants must also confirm whether
they still qualify for a rental dwelling or
a subsidised house in a new housing
project.
In addition to encouraging people
across the city tovisit theirnearest office,
the city is embarking on a targeted drive
to encourage applicants to update their
details on the housing database better
known as the waiting list.
This drive begins in the Scottsdene
Area and the surrounding suburbs of
Kraaifontein, Brackenfell and Durban-
ville, added Gqada.
As part of this initiative, advertise-
ments will appear in community papers
in selected areas and letters will be hand-
ed to applicants who reside in these are-
as.
There are many new housing projects
in the pipeline. According to the citys al-

done in order of the date of application
in the target area and to those applicants

Racing mates: Max Matini (25), a
local bike mechanic from Durbanville,
and his team mate, Thembisile Shaun
Mtintsilana (23) recently took part in
the Champions Race in Kyamandi. Both
were chosen to join riders like former
multiple World champion, Christoph
Sauser. They also took part in the Absa
Cape Epic, which took place from 17 to
24 March at Meerendal Wine Estate in
Durbanville.
The city is encouraged by the response to
its boreholes and well-point registration
drive.
The city appeals to those with boreholes
or well-points on their properties to regis-
ter or re-register on its database, in the
spirit of Water Month.
The information obtained during the
borehole/well-point registration process
is required for statistical data purposes on-
ly and no charges are levied.
There has been a steady increase in the
number of boreholes and well-point regis-
trations across the city especially during
March this year, which is also the citys
Water Month.
Apart from information, owners will al-
so receive a new borehole/well-point sign
which must be prominently displayed on
the boundary of the premises, upon regis-
tration.
The effective use of boreholes and well-
points for non-drinking purposes, such as
irrigating gardens, reduces the demand on
drinking water from the citys water
mains, and is therefore encouraged.
We would like to appeal to those who
have these water resource applications on
their premises to please register themwith
the citys water and sanitation department
at no charge.
As a Caring City, we recognise and ap-
plaud those who use alternative water
sources for the responsible manner in
which they address the water demand on
their premises, said the mayoral commit-
tee member for utility services, Ernest
Sonnenberg.
