Triple axis spectrometer SIKAThe SIKA’s dance floor consist of 34 solid granite tiles. The instrument could be used for both thermal cold neutron TAS. The best energy resolution of 0.0275 meV (FWHM) is provided at Ei= 2.6 meV
Agreement signed off between ANSTO and NCU.

The cold triple axis spectrometer SIKA
We are currently working hard to get background down to be a world top class cold triple axis spectrometer
Located at ANSTO-Bragg institute

Helium 3 cooled one shot fridge to be used with the orange cryostat OC-1 0.5K for 8 hrs
