As we move through what will be another challenging year and a testing time for the industry, it’s important that we all remain focused on the positives. Whilst the current business climate is still volatile and fluctuating, TWMA continues to do all it can to ensure we endure, progress and offer the best possible solutions to our customers.

Our committed, hardworking team has continued to adapt to the current climate and their sustained support has been reflected in the award of several new contracts. We’re delighted to be working with Apache, Zennor and LR Senergy to provide integrated drilling waste solutions both on and offshore.

Our wealth of experience and knowledge in the drilling and general waste markets has allowed us to develop integrated waste management solutions which offer more efficient and cost effective ways of working, by bundling together all waste streams into one contract. We understand the challenges faced by operators as we adjust to a new reality of a low oil price, and continually strive to provide solutions that offer added value in all of our operations.

Safety remains key to all that we do at TWMA, and we are committed to maintaining and gaining new accreditations which allow us to further drive efficiency, quality and safety in our operations to the benefit of our customers. New accreditations also support future business opportunities whilst crucially strengthening our service offering.

We were also delighted to be recognised for our successful export activity within the oil and gas and energy industry, being crowned winner of the Export Achievement category at this year’s Offshore Achievement Awards - a fantastic achievement for the whole team at TWMA.

Despite the challenges ahead, I am confident that with hard work and innovation, the industry can once again begin to prosper as we slowly but surely work our way towards economic recovery.

FOREWORD

Despite the challenges ahead, I am confident that with hard work and innovation, the industry can once again begin to prosper as we slowly but surely work our way towards economic recovery.

The one year (with one year option) contract involves utilising our award-winning TCC RotoMill® for offshore processing and EfficientC® for cuttings transfer and distribution.

Chief Operating Officer, Neil Potter, said: “We have built a strong relationship with Apache over the last five years, and are delighted to have been selected to support on the WilPhoenix project. We also supported a previous drilling campaign on this platform last year and have ongoing contracts with Apache including the

provision of EfficientC® bulk transfer services on the Beryl Bravo and Alpha platforms, and onshore processing services for those and other Apache installation platforms.

“This continuation of our services across Apache’s North Sea projects is major recognition of our ability to offer the best possible integrated solutions for effectively managing drilling waste both on and offshore, and testament to the strong relationships we consistently build with our customers.”

We are delighted to announce that TWMA has recently secured a £1.5million contract with Apache on the WilPhoenix platform in the North Sea Beryl field.

CUTTING EDGE : SPRING

We are pleased to announce that TWMA has been awarded new contracts with a combined value of £500,000, for skip and ship and onshore processing services.

Service Offering Recognised with New Contract Awards

One of the projects is for Zennor Pathway Limited and started in April 2016 with a duration of 90 days. This contract includes EfficientC® skip and ship services on the SEDCO 704 drilling rig in the North Sea.

Another project for LR Senergy on the Deepsea Stavanger vessel, started in April 2016 with a duration of 70 days.

We’re delighted to have been selected to support Zennor and LR Senergy on these projects and these awards complement our current North Sea operations. They also highlight our strengths and capabilities to

provide integrated drilling waste solutions both on and offshore and will utilise our bundled waste management solutions for the provision of skip and ship services.

The contract with Zennor is also testament to the hard work of our experienced, skilled team currently working on the SEDCO 704 rig, which has allowed us to continue our skip and ship service provision on this asset.

In January, TWMA welcomed a delegation of eight energy officials from West Africa to view our equipment at the Aberdeen and Peterhead premises. The delegation visited TWMA’s Aberdeen and Peterhead premises to explore best practice in waste management for reduced environmental impact.

Rob O’Neill, Director of Business Development at TWMA, said: “We are delighted to welcome these government officials and oil industry experts from West Africa, and share with them our engineering technologies and integrated solutions which result in the most effective management of drilling waste, both on and offshore. We hope that our innovative concepts,

methodologies and way of thinking inspired the delegation to think about the environmental legislation and best practices in their operations, to minimise the environmental impact in the region.”

GENERAL WASTE

As a leader in drilling waste management, TWMA is the only provider integrating our full range of services to offer a bundled and true end-to-end waste management solution

TWMA is a proven supplier of fully integrated waste management solutions both on and offshore, which encompass all drilling waste and general waste streams.

From our extensive experience working in this area, we have seen first-hand the challenges that are present when working with multiple service providers across various waste streams. Issues can occur with control, liability and tracking and monitoring work, all of which can add significant unnecessary costs into the supply chain.

One company, one responsibility

6

Feature

Increasing oil exploration and production activities are driving the global drilling waste management market. During these activities, drilling fluids and drill cuttings are generated and eventually lead to environmental degradation over a period of time. Drilling waste management technology plays a crucial role in lowering the ecological hazards caused by these waste materials.

TWMA believes the key to providing the best service is to fully understand operators’ internal costs, which enables us to highlight the savings we can provide with our bundled service offering.

Award winning solutionsTWMA’s wealth of experience in the drilling and general waste markets means that we have the expertise and know-how required to develop integrated solutions for operators, which are proven to be more resource efficient and cost-effective.

Our award-winning EfficientC® and TCC RotoMill® are critical to our integrated service offering, which together are the only proven and successful solution for processing drill cuttings offshore. TWMA introduced this technology to the North Sea in 2001, and works with supermajors and international operators including ExxonMobil, BP, Shell, Total and Maersk, amongst others.

Our integrated solutions involve ‘bundling’ all waste streams into one contract, which also includes several peripheral services such as pit and tank cleaning and rig clean up to further enhance the offering. Operators receive a one-company, one-responsibility, cradle to grave solution.

How does it work?TWMA takes overall responsibility for all drill cuttings through our EfficientC® cuttings handling, storage and transfer system. This system can either transfer drill cuttings to the TCC RotoMill®, or alternatively to the only true bulk transfer solution in use today, utilising our unique cuttings storage and transfer (CST) tanks both on the rig and the platform supply vessel. If preferred, however, the system can also be used with cuttings skips. Neither transfer method requires the need to slurry cuttings at any time, which significantly reduces the volume requiring treatment.

Alongside the drill cuttings handling and processing, TWMA will also install an offshore slops treatment unit. Unrivalled within the market place, the design of our treatment unit is based on years of onshore experience and deals with all slop material, including that with notable solid content, as opposed to just “dirty” water (which is the limited capability of the majority of systems in the market today). The solids remaining after the slop treatment can be mixed with the drill cuttings and fed through the TCC RotoMill®, which virtually eliminates the need for any drilling waste to be taken ashore.

A highly experienced ‘one stop shop’TWMA offshore crews have years of experience operating our equipment around the globe. These multi-disciplined teams are trained in each of our service offerings, which allows us to offer several peripheral services without the need for additional companies, people or equipment to be brought on board.

These services are also provided onshore for vessel tank cleaning, vessel clean up, port facility assistance and other general services as required.

In order to further enhance the bundled waste management offering, TWMA offers additional offshore general and hazardous waste segregation and containment services. We provide the necessary equipment and manpower required to monitor, contain, control and manifest all other waste streams coming ashore.

Onshore, TWMA can continue to offer a one-stop shop service. We are the largest and most established onshore provider of both drill cuttings and slops treatment at our recently upgraded, fully licensed facilities in the UK, Norway and Egypt.

Superior solutionsTrack record, experience, know-how and ability – TWMA has it all. This allows us to offer a fully integrated bundled waste management service, a true end-to-end solution for all waste streams generated both onshore and offshore.

We have proven that there are significant efficiencies to be gained in both process and value, by ‘bundling’ up a range of services which fit perfectly together. Traditionally, these services have been split between various internal departments and numerous contractors, which can often hide the true costs of work.

TWMA’s integrated waste offering removes cross departmental issues and multi-contractor problems, delivering a superior solution to the client at all levels. Our bundled service solution offers dramatic efficiencies for our clients.

TWMA Achieves HSEQ Accreditations

8

TWMA is committed to ensuring the highest standards of health and safety, and safeguarding against personal injury and environmental damage. We have implemented an Integrated HSEQ Management System which incorporates the ISO9001:2008, ISO14001:2004 and OHSAS18001:2007 standards and has been certified by BSI.

TECHNOLOGY

We have successfully maintained these accreditations at all UK and Alexandria (Egypt) facilities during 2015 and recently achieved all three accreditations at our Mongstad facility in Norway. We are also working towards achieving these in our Abu Dhabi facilities by the end of 2016.

These standards are crucial to ensure that we have developed an efficient management system which improves the quality of our services and products, and allows us to effectively review and improve our environmental impact.

ISO9001:2008 – Quality Management System TWMA has developed a management system with a suite of documents which detail the required controls that have been implemented in order to transition from Customer Enquiry to Product/Service Delivery.

ISO14001:2004 – Environmental Management SystemsThis accreditation is similar to ISO9001:2008 but is based on the environmental impact that we must consider as a company, including our equipment and services, and how they are effectively controlled and monitored.

OHSAS18001:2007 –Occupational Health and Safety Management SystemsThis accreditation is based on health and safety requirements, ensuring TWMA implements risk mitigating measures to provide and maintain a safe environment for our employees and customers.

Winning this award is a truly great achievement, and recognises the effort and commitment demonstrated by the entire TWMA team.

We are delighted to announce that TWMA was crowned winner of the Export Achievement category at this year’s Offshore Achievement Awards.

The award recognises our significant business growth resulting from successful export activity in the oil and gas and energy sector.

Winners were announced at a prestigious awards ceremony on Thursday 17 March at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.

Chief Operating Officer, Neil Potter said: “Winning this award is a truly great achievement, and recognises the effort and commitment demonstrated by the entire TWMA team.

”Export Success Recognised at Offshore Achievement Awards 2016

Continued export activity is vital for TWMA’s success and for achieving long-term sustainable growth, in addition to continued international expansion.”

We were also pleased to once again sponsor the Environmental Innovation award, which we have supported for the past two years. This award recognises an outstanding environmental technology, process or system developed for the offshore industry, and we were hugely encouraged by the calibre of entries in this category and across the board.

Now in its 30th year, the Offshore Achievement Awards is the largest and longest established industry awards for the UK offshore energy sector.
