It’s almost Christmas!!

It has been an awesome and

busy year!

Everyone’s progress is

coming along so well!

I can’t believe how quickly this year has gone but I’m very

excited for what the new year brings and hope you all are too.

We have lots of new things to look forward

to such as a brand new aerial hoop that will be installed in the

studio!

The Midlands Pole Championships is

coming up in April and last but definitely not least it is Twisted Pole’s SECOND BIRTHDAY!!!!!

I cannot believe it is already 2 years and cannot begin to tell you all how much I appreciate the sup-port and love that you have given Twist-ed Pole. It would not have survved without you. You are what makes Twisted Pole :)

Last week on the 2nd December I took part in the UK Professional Pole Championships 2012 (UKPPC). It was such a great surprise and honour to get through to the finals and have a chance

to compete against the very best in the country.

I didn’t place in the competition but I wanted to thank eve-ryone for their amaz-ing support both at the competition and leading up to it. Es-pecially Laura Brown who spent hours watching my routine and telling me where I could improve.

It was such a fantas-tic experience and I will definitely be reap-plying next year!!

Classes over Christmas and

New YearIt’s definitely getting colder! I’m sure most of you don’t need reminding

especially during the les-sons at the studio!

We will not be running all of the classes throughout Christmas. The last Lesson will be on the 21st

December 6-7pm. There will be no Wednesday Class that week. After that there may be some private les-sons available but you will have to contact us individually to find out abbout availability.

Lessons on the monday mornings will be on on the 17th only. Next year the time will be changed to 12-1pm and will only go ahead if there are at least 3 people booked into the lesson. So if you would like to come to the class then booking is essential

otherwise the lesson may not be run-ning. Our practice session will now be 5-6pm on a monday every week.

Burlesque classes will continue on a Weds 7-8pm and Belly dancing will continue on Thursdays 6-7pm.

Sunday Lessons will now be held at 12-2pm and Thursday splits classes are cancelled from now on due to lack of interest.

Group classes will recommence on January 4th 6-7pm. There will be no Sunday lesson and then classes are back to normal as of the monday. Private lessons may be available earlier.

This week we will be doing Christmas Routines! The Pole routines will be on the 10th at 6-7pm and 12th Decem-ber 8-9pm and Friday at 6-7pm!! There will also be a Christmas Bur-lesque routine Wednesday 7-8pm.

Don’t forget your Christmas fancy dress!!

Other Classes

Belly DancingBelly dancing is still goin ahead on Thursdays 6-8pm! Only £5. A great way to get your body moving. Take part in a varied and interesting class learning routines and challenging and interesting new movements with the aid of just a hip scarf or even candles for a light dance!

BurlesqueDiscover your sexy side and learn

how to remove your cloth-ing whilst also learning how to move your body to the music. Amy will be doing special Christ-mas routines next week so don’t forget to get on

your sexy santa outfits and candy-cane stockings and get down to

Twisted Pole on Wednesday 7-8pm only £6!

Beginner’s CourseThere will be a brand new Beginner’s course starting on the 15th January 2013 for 6 weeks at only £60! The lessons will be held every tuesday 7-8.30pm. This is a great way to be introduced to and get comfortable with the basics of pole dancing in an intensive course. At the end of the course you will learn a routine and receive a certifi-cate of Achievement!

Splits and FlexibilitySplits and flexinibility classes take place on a monday 8-9pm. We do stretches for all areas of the body concentrating on the back and legs to increase all over flexibility but also work towards splits and back bends. Only £30 for 6 weeks or £6 a session!

Midlands Pole Championships

A Search to find the Midlands Pole Champion of 2013!!!

We have set up a competition which will be taking place next year!

The Midlands Pole Championships is a new competition for pole dancers all over the Midlands who either live

or go to university within the Mid-lands.

The MPC is open to men and women over 16 years

old.

The competition consists of 2 parts and 5 categories. The categories are as fol-

lows:

• Level 1 Amateur (8 competitors)• Level 2 Intermediate (8 competi-

tors)•Level 3 Advanced Amateur (8

competitors)• Level 4 Professional (10 competi-

tors)• Level 5 Groups (8 groups)

The first round is Vedeo Entry and then the Finals will take place in Not-

tingham on the 7th April 2012

Twisted Pole’s Second Birthday!!

Yes it is almost that time again! Twisted Pole Studios will have been running for 2 years in January!

What a fantastic two years it has been. It has been an incredible journey with you all getting to this point. Thank you so much for all of the support

you have all given over the last two years and I look forward to many more with you all!

We will be celebrating Twisted’s birthday with a pole jam on the 12th Janu-ary from 3-6pm. Afterwards at 8pm we will be going for a social at so me local bars. We hope you can make it for the day or evening

or both!

Christmas Show University of Nottingham

Pole Dance Society will be holding a showcase for

members of all abilities to put together a short routine and perform. There will be a great line up of routines,

as well as a buffet in the interval and drinks

available all night! Invite everyone... friends, family, the more the merrier!

Tickets are just £6.50 includ-ing FREE buffet, and can be

bought in advance from members of the society or on the door. The proceeds will be going to the charity
