THE CONCEPT IS ABOUT INTERLOCKING IMAGES OF COMPONENTS. HOWEVER IT CREATES A SIMPLE GEOMETRY SHAPE OF RECTANGLE. THE HOUSING UNITS CONFIGURATION ARE VARIES IN ORDER TO CREATES HIGHER PERCENTAGE OF OPTIONS FOR THE BUYERS. IN ORDER TO MAXIMISE THE USAGE OF SPACE IN THE HOUSING BLOCK, THE INTERLOCKING UNITS FORMED A PERFECT

EXPERIENCE FROM NEIGHBOURING DESIGN IS BROUGHT INTO THE RESIDENTIAL AREA TO CREATE A DOMESTIC FEELINGS OF PUTRAJAYA.

USAGE OF PATTERN FOR FACADE IS IMMITATED WITH ADDITIONAL FUNTION OF PHOTOVOLTAIC CELL. THE PATTERN OF THE SUN SCREEN REFLECTS INTERNAL ARRANGMENTS OF HOUSING UNIT

DIFFERENT INLETS AND OUTLETS SIZES CREATE DIFFERENCE IN PRESSURE TO ENSURE EFFICIENT AND QUALITY FLOW OF NATURAL VENTILATION

INITIAL COMBINATION OF TWO UNITS IN ONE RECTANGULAR FRAME CONCRTE SYSTEM SEPARATED BY TWO LAYER (CAVITY) CONCRETE PAN-ELS FOR INSULATION AND SOUND PRIVACY. INDUSTRIALISED BUILDING SYSTEM ALLOWS MODIFICATION OF PRE-CAST COMPONENTS USED IN THIS BUILDING.

COMBINED UNITS CREATES OPPORTUNITY FOR FUTURE ADDITION OF FAMILY MEMBER AND FUTURE OCCUPANCY IN THE RESIDENTIAL UNITS.

ALL COMPONENTS ARE PRE-CASTED IN THE FACTORY TO ALLOW FAST CON-STRUCTION, THUS REDUCING CONSTRUCTION COST FOR THE DESIGN. IT ALSO GIVES AN ADVANTAGE OF FLEXIBLE SPACE CHANGES IN THE FUTURE.

THE SOLARWALL SYSTEM IS BASED ON A METAL (ALUMINUM OR STEEL) CLADDING THAT IS INSTALLED ON THE WEST AND EAST-FACING WALL OF A BUILDING. THE SYSTEM OPERATES IN A VERY SIMPLE MANNER USING ECONOMICAL AND ENVIRONMENTALLY-BENIGN SOLAR ENERGY TO CREATE ELECTRICITY. AT NIGHT, A SOLARWALL ACTS TO REDUCE BUILDING HEAT LOSS. SOLARWALL PROVIDES SUMMER COOLING BY PREVENTING SOLAR RADIATION FROM STRIKING THE EAST AND WEST WALL OF A BUILDING. WARM AIR BETWEEN THE SOLARWALL AND THE BUILDING RISES AND IS VENTILATED THROUGH THE CLADDING. THIS REDUCES COOLING LOADS IN THE BUILDING.
