    TWIN CREEKS NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH

    Twin Creeks Neighborhood Watch wants to remind everyone to please Save the Date for Tuesday, October 2, 2012 to participate in National Night Out. This annual event is held each year in Texas to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness. Additionally, it is to help strengthen neighborhood comradery and spirit.

    Twin Creeks Neighborhood Watch only has a few streets left that need Block Captains. Being a Block Captain is easy -- simply visit your neighbors and obtain their contact information. Instructions and forms are provided. To volunteer, please email Terra Tisdale at ttisdale61@gmail.com. The following neighborhoods/streets still need Block Captains: The Park Barsham Ct., Durlston Ct., Giacomo Cove, Tattler Dr. The Canyon Ebbsfleet Dr., Kittiwake Ln., Copford Ln.,

    Safety Tip of the MonthWith school back in session here are a few tips to help keep our

    children safe.Motorists should remember:

    Slow down and be alert, especially in residential areas and school zones.

    Watch for children at intersections and near the road especially in the morning and after school hours.

    Be careful when following or approaching a school bus. Parents and children should remember: Remove headphones and put away cell phones before crossing

    the street. If youre riding your bike to school, always wear a helmet and

    follow the rules of the road. RememberReport Every Crime, Every Time.
