By the time each resident receives their Tribune for March 2014, we will have a few new Twin Creek HOA Board Members. Neighborhood Watch would like to welcome each new member!

Neighborhood Watch would like to take a moment and express our gratitude and thanks to the previous HOA Board members, Tom Moody and Adam English for the years of volunteering of your time and energy into our community!

We especially would like to thank Tom Moody (former HOA President) for his support and encouragement along the way with all Neighborhood Watch endeavors. Tom attended the very first Neighborhood Watch presentation held at the club in 2012. Additionally, he took the time to let all Twin Creek residents know that the Board was not only excited about this program starting in the community, but extended the Boards support to the Twin Creeks Neighborhood Watch program.

PARK UPDATE (PARK AT DERVINGHAM / IZORO BEND)We would like to thank our Twin Creek resident, Dale

Homburg, for taking the time to not only look into the problem, but find the solution to the million dollar question Which law enforcement entity to call when there are issues in the park? After many phone calls, research and emails Dale found the solution.

Normally the Travis County Sheriffs department is dispatched to our community if there is a problem within Twin Creeks. Because the park is owned by the City of Cedar Park the Sheriffs

department does not have jurisdiction within the park.If you need to report an incident in the park you are asked to:

Please contact Cedar Park Police NON EMERGENCY phone number - 512.260.4600 & press option 0.

Please make sure that you explain to the dispatcher the fact that the park belongs to the

City of Cedar Park, even though it is physically located within Twin Creeks.

NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH BLOCK CAPTAINSWelcome to our newest Block Captain, Lionel Dyck, for

Mystic Summit Dr.With so many new homes being built in The Reserve we are

grateful for all the new residents who have stepped up to get involved and volunteer in their new community. Very little time is involved to serve as a block captain and the rewards of a safer neighborhood are certainly worth the effort!

Why not volunteer to serve as a Block Captain by contacting Twin Creeks Neighborhood Watch Chairperson, Terra Tisdale, at ttisdale61@gmail.com.

Block Captains for the following streets are still needed:

AT&T recently announced GigaPower (part of uVerse) which is a first to market launch in Austin and likely the fastest residential internet service in the country. The service is already live in many Austin neighborhoods, and if we, Twin Creeks/Cedar Park, would like to be considered for the next rollout we need to VOTE!

Can we share the following link with our members / neighborhood somehow?

WANT YOUR SKIN TO GLOW?"All Natural" Might Not Be The Way To Go If you want your skin to glow, experts at Baylor College of

Medicine say all natural products might not be the answer. "Some people think that by going all natural with their skin

care, that it will automatically be safer for their skin. That's not necessarily the case," said Dr. Rajani Katta, professor of dermatology at Baylor.

Whether it is cleansers or moisturizers, you can still have allergic reactions to the ingredients even if they are all natural or organic. Many natural ingredients, such as lavender extract or sandalwood oil, are actually types of fragrance additives. Even though these are natural fragrances, they can still cause the same type of allergic reactions. Other natural ingredients, such as tea tree oil, can also trigger allergic reactions.

Since it may be hard to pinpoint exactly what is causing irritation or allergic reactions just by reading labels, Katta suggests consulting a dermatologist.
