ItineraryDAY 1 // MONDAY, JULY 26EMBARKATION – BUDAPEST, HUNGARYArrive in Budapest and board your luxurious
river cruise ship. Budapest offers an unmatched combination of culture, tradition and even a secret labyrinth of caves under the city. Your city tour begins with a visit to the Great Market Hall before going to both the Buda (hilly and the Pest (flat) sides of the river. During the evening, be treated to a special Illuminations cruise past the capital’s glittering riverfront. (D)
DAY 2 // TUESDAY, JULY 27 BRATISLAVA, SLOVAKIAHost to the crowning ceremonies of 11 Hungarian kings and queens between 1536 and 1830, Bratislava certainly has earned the title “Coronation City of Kings,” as you’ll discover during your walking tour. Or join a special “Tastes of Slovakia” tour. For a more active adventure, hike up to Bratislava Castle, offering magnificent views of the city. (B,L,D

DAY 3 // WEDNESDAY, JULY 28VIENNA, AUSTRIAThe “City of Waltzes” offers a wealth of gems and your city tour showcases its regal splendors, including the majestic Opera House and the former Imperial Palace of the Habsburgs. Conclude your tour in Vienna’s historic city center and then visit St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Or if you prefer a more active exploration, take a guided bike ride to the Klosterneuburg Monastery. During the afternoon, enjoy leisure time to further explore this iconic city. (B,L,D)
DAY 4 // THURSDAY, JULY 29DURNSTEIN – MELK, AUSTRIAAfter reaching the Wachau Valley in the morning, you’ll have a choice of three excursions in Dürnstein. Partake in a walking tour along cobblestone streets to the luminous blue facade of the Baroque Stiftskirche, its famed church tower, before enjoying a wine tasting in a local cellar. For a beautiful view of the Wachau Valley, hike up to the fortress where Richard the Lionheart was once held.

Alternatively, visit a local boutique, where you’ll be treated to the region’s finest apricot products. PLEASE NOTE: Regardless of whether you have signed the agreement on your registration form, retention of your Itinerary/Invoice shall constitute acceptance of all the provisions listed here as well as those terms and conditions set forth in the announcement and brochures of the tour/package, charter, cruise or service.
PROOF OF IDENTITY: Proof of identity is required for all travel. A valid U.S. passport with 6 months validity past the trip return date is required for all travel. Please ask your travel consultant for assistance if you are a citizen of another country.
RESPONSIBILITY CLAUSE: Carrousel Travel purchases transportation, hotel accommodations and other services from various suppliers that are not subject to its immediate control. Carrousel Travel cannot, therefore, be liable for any personal injury or property damage or personal loss in connection with any service which may occur due to (1) any act or omission of such a supplier, or (2) defects in or failures of any aircraft, vessel, automotive vehicle or other means of transportation that is not under their control, or (3) any circumstances arising as a result of military or political action, terrorism, weather, acts of God, epidemiological events or any other circumstances over which Carrousel Travel has no control. Carrousel Travel reserves the right to alter, change or omit any part of the itinerary as they deem necessary or desirable, and to pass on to participants any expenditures or losses caused by delays or events beyond their control.
SUPPLIER DEFAULT/BANKRUPTCY: If a supplier declares bankruptcy, cancels or postpones service or otherwise fails to provide or perform the services you have purchased, it is the supplier, and not the travel consultant, that is legally responsible to you. Refunds or reparations must come directly from the supplier or the bankruptcy court. Carrousel Travel will do their best to assist you.
