DISTRICT ATHLETICS On the 2nd September Whitehorse Primary

competed against other school at our District

athletics competition. It was a very successful day

for Whitehorse PS with 4 students making it into

the Divisional Finals being held on October 7 at

Bill Sewart Athletics Track in Nunawading.

Congratulations to Charlotte, Sonia, Cal and

Nathaniel for making it through to the Divisional competition.

DISTRICT SPORT District Interschool Sport was held on September 11 with Whitehorse PS fielding teams

in Basketball, Cricket, Volleyball, Softball, Ultimate Frisbee and Bat tennis.

Whitehorse again had a successful day with

Basketball Girls, Softball Boys and Cricket Boys

making the District Final. Unfortunately we were

unlucky to come up against some very strong

competition, and we were runners-up in all these

games.

The Earn & Learn promotion has now finished. A huge

thank you to all the families, extended families, friends

and neighbours who have collected ‘earn & learn’

stickers for us. We have received over 400 completed

sheets which is a fantastic effort. We now need to

return the completed sheets to have them validated

and turned into points. We are then able to choose new

educational equipment with our points.

IPAD UPDATE

Please ensure that iPad

software is kept up to date.

Presently the version iOS 8.4.1.

You can access the update in SETTINGS/

GENERAL/SOFTWARE UPDATE to check.

At school recently an upgrade in security has

required the school to renew the wireless

certificates, provided by the Department of

Education, on all student iPads. Improvement in

Apple’s security has also required us to

reconfigure the Print Server to enable all

students to print to the photocopiers.
