Given the open nature of the woodland around the horse box parking area, it is possible for loose horses to escape onto the public highway. Since we are not permitted to fence the area, riders should be aware of this risk, especially when tying horses to the exterior of their vehicles and leaving them unattended. Anyone making an entry to a Tweseldown competition acknowledges and accepts this risk.

HEALTH and SAFETY STATEMENTThe Organiser of this event has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of every person present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organiser, officials and stewards. The Organiser advises that, due to the uneven and, in parts, irregular terrain at this event, it may be difficult at times for spectators to move around freely and easily, as a result of which it may not be suitable for those spectators who suffer from certain medical conditions. All the spectators enter the event at their own risk and are advised to wear suitable footwear. The Organiser shall not incur any liability, except as required by law, in respect of any injury or damage to any spectators howsoever sustained.Please take especial care to ensure the safety of children.Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.Watch out for horses at all times.Please note: The use of small motorbikes and A.T.V. (quad bikes) is not permitted on the estate duringthe period of the event, unless specifically authorised by the Organiser.

DISABLED VISITORS and SPECTATORSThe Organiser and the committee want Tweseldown to be an event that everyone can enjoy so we try our best to make the event site as accessible as we can. Due to the nature of the terrain it can be difficult, especially in wet conditions to enable access to every discipline of the event. We do have toilets accessible to all and specified designated Disabled parking. We do ask that, wherever possible, anyone requiring special assistance at the event emails the Organiser in advance so that we can make arrangements to accommodate for individual needs. Where this is not possible to make contact before the contact on the day is Claire Rumney and she is contactable on site via radio. Radios are sited at the entrance to the event (parking attendants) and at the secretary’s office.

Please note: No motorised buggies are allowed on site without prior warning. This is for your and others safety to ensure we are aware of any motorised buggies on site.

No drones are permitted on site at any time - thank you.
