JORDANWith over 5000 years of history, a captivating variety of cultures and some truly stunning land-scapes, Egypt offers a com-pletely unique travel experience. Be amazed by the incredible Pyramids of Giza, take a cruise on the timeless Nile, venture into the country’s rugged desert inte-rior, or just grab the sunscreen and scuba gear for a beach break on the georgeus Sinai Peninsula.

An ancient land appearing frequently in the Bible, Jordan is home to relics of countless bygone civilisations including the Greeks, Romans and Ottomans. The lost Nabataean city of Petra ranks at one of the World’s most spectacular archaeological sites, while crumbling crusader cas-tles, stunning desert landscapes and the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea make Jordan an ideal destination at any time of year.

The winter months of Decem-ber, January and February are the ideal time to travel, with pleasant days and cooler eve-nings. The summer months are hot and dry with temperatures reaching into 40° C from June to August.

Jordan enjoys warm, dry sum-mers from April until October. The hilly regions including Am-man and Petra are most tem-perate and summers are hot but pleasant. Winters in these higher regions can be particu-larly cold. From November to March, Amman and Petra sometimes experience snow.

ISRAEL GREECE TURKEYThe modern homeland of the Jewish people, Israel boasts many sites considered sacred to Muslims and Christians also. Visitors to this ancient land can discover an array of bibli-cal relics, admire spectacular desert landscapes, relax on golden sandy beaches and soak up the youthful energy of Tel Aviv. Whether you’re seeking a religious experience or just an unforgettable holiday, Israel is a country worth taking the time to discover.

Visitors flock to Greece for its rich history, timeless legends and glorious architecture. Greek cities and towns are pos-itively overflowing with classic postcard images, from those famous whitewashed houses with blue window shutters to the crumbling temples of Athens. With over 3500 islands scattered across the shimmering Aegean Sea, Greece is the perfect place to unwind, relax and soak up the sun.

With one foot in the East and one in the West, Turkey is an explosion of cultures and influ-ences. Ottoman mosques rub shoulders with Roman temples, spice markets sit alongside de-signer boutiques, and dramatic mountains sweep down to white beaches.

Israel enjoys long, hot summers from April to October, while the hilly regions are generally mild from November to March. Jerusalem can get quite cold in the winter months and even receives the odd snowfall.

Greece has a Mediterranean climate with mild winters and warm, dry summers. The best time to visit is between April and October. The peak tourist season runs from mid-June to August and can sometimes bring temperatures of up to 40° C, making this a good time to escape the city and chill out on the Greek Islands.

The best time to travel to Turkey is between May and October when days are warm and hot. Summer temperatures between June and August aver-age around 32° C in the coastal areas. Inland regions are hotter in summer and can experience temperatures in excess of 40° C. Winter along the coast tend to be mild.
