Annette passed away peacefully February 5, 2016 with Michael, her beloved husband, by her side. Her body has lost, but her soul triumphs through Jesus Christ, her Saviour, whom she loved and served wholeheartedly. Since receiving a lung cancer diagnosis in April 2015, Connie faced her illness with grace and courage, fiercely holding on to Philippians 1:21 “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” Besides her loving husband Ian, Connie is survived by her children Adam (Krista) Lawson, and their children Jayden, and Nevaeh; Rebekah (Dwaine) Giesbrecht, and their children Hannah, Kenya, Mercedes, Marcus, and William; Benjamin (Kristen) Lawson, and their children Kalia, and Jace; Rachel (Ryan) Buhr, and children Grace, Olivia, and Adelynn; and Ruth (Luke) Watson. Brian was born November 4, 1983 in Regina, Saskatchewan. In his younger years Brian enjoyed playing hockey, soccer, golf and camping with friends and family at Brightsand and Emma Lake. Brian started to display his entrepreneur ability at a young age by renting out his Nintendo to friends and selling candy for profit at school. Brian moved with his parents and sister to Medicine Hat, Alberta in 1999. Brian graduated from Eagle Butte High School in 2002. After taking computer and business classes he went on to be self-employed owning a delivery company and taxi service in Lethbridge, Alberta. He was an excellent storyteller and loved to share his adventures as a taxi driver. Brian enjoyed going on ski trips with family and friends and was always happy to play cards and games. He will be forever remembered in the hearts of his parents, John and Linda; his sister, Heather (Josh); Oma Hedy Roflik; Grandma Hazel Cannon; Aunts and Uncles, Vlasta (Zdenka) Roflik, Rob (Christine) Roflik, Dave (Diana) Cannon, and Glenys (Wes) Richmond; cousins and friends. Ora grew up in Whiskey Gap with five sisters and two brothers, as his parents farmed in this area. After his years of farming he then worked with his brother Darrel in the John Deere business and then went to work driving truck for the MD of Cardston for 17 years. He did perfect leather work, as well as he liked to work in his big garden. He was also an avid hunter, motorcycle rider (nearly all his life), and he used to call Square Dancing in Del Bonita and was a very good dancer. In their retirement he and Rose travelled to Yuma for four years, and went on many Chinook Bus tours. Besides his loving wife Rose, he is survived by his siblings, Donna, Verna, Roma, Ethel and Lynn. He was predeceased by Nola, Darrel and by his parents Auto and Laura. He had a lot of friends, was a friend to all and will be dearly missed. There was always an offering of food when you stopped to visit. Lydia was a very proud wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
