Turkey (Turkish: Türkiye), officially the Republic of Turkey is a contiguous transcontinental country, located mostly on Anatolia in Western Asia, and on East Thrace in Southeastern Europe.
Turkey is a democratic, secular, unitary, constitutional republic with a diverse cultural heritage.
The Anatolian peninsula, comprising most of modern Turkey, is one of the oldest permanently settled regions in the world. Various Ancient Anatolian populations have lived in Anatolia like Hattians, Phyrgians, Cimmerians, Romans, Seljukis and Ottomans…
Turkey is subdivided into 81 provinces for administrative purposes. Each province is divided into districts, for a total of 923 districts.
Turkey is subdivided to seven regions.
Turkey have 3 main climates; Continental climate, Aegean climate and Black Sea climate.
Turkish cuisine is largely based on Ottoman cuisine, which can be described as a fusion and refinement of Central Asian, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean and Balkan cuisines.

Tourism in Turkey is focused largely on a variety of historical sites, and on seaside resorts along its Aegean and Mediterranean Sea coasts. In the recent years, Turkey has also become a popular destination for culture, spa, and health care tourism. Winter tourism is another alternative.

Uludağ , the ancient Mysian Olympus, is a mountain in Bursa Province,Turkey, with an altitude of 2,543 m (8,343 ft). It is a popular center for winter sportssuch as skiing, and a national park of rich flora and fauna.
