Dodge Ball Tournament The J is holding our first dodge ball tournament. Sign your team up today. Saturdays, Sept. 20 and 27, $100 per team

El Tour Training Series includes weekly indoor rides on stationary trainers. Ride your own bike or an indoor spinning bike. Bi-monthly no-drop outdoor rides on Sunday mornings provide distances that will help you train at your level. A template training plan and expert coaching will be provided by former pro cyclist Quinn Keogh of Fitworks Cycling Support and cover all aspects needed to train right for this year’s El Tour. Drop-in Option: Participants will receive

all materials for the specific class they are attending. They will not receive the full training template or materials from other training sessions.

Indoor Rides, $25/$20 member Must sign up before class begins. Outdoor Rides, $40/$35 member Must pre-register before Sunday mornings. Mondays, July 21–Nov. 15, 6 pm, $285Join any time before Oct. 15, training will continue weekly through Nov. 15 Fee will be prorated depending on start date.

Endurance Sports Coaching | Gold This service provides One–on–One customized coaching, weekly contact with coach, unlimited access to all Endurance Sports Cycling Classes, nutrition guidance and overview of all physical activities as they relate to the training program. Endurance Sports Coaching | Standard This service provides a monthly workout template, access to all Endurance Sports Cycling Classes, once a month assessment with adjustment to the plan as needed. Gentle Fitness Chair Exercise Join us for a Lebed Method gentle fitness chair exercise class. Deep breathing, gentle stretching and therapeutic movements set to Big Band, jazz and swing era music. Kettlebell 101 Learn the basics of training with Kettlebells from certified RKC master trainer. Kettlebells are a cast-iron or steel weight (resembling a cannonball with a handle) used to perform ballistic exercises that combine cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training. Used to improve general fitness or for sports specific cross training, learn the basics and see what the buzz is all about. 4 weeks, 4 sessions Mondays and Wednesdays, Oct. 1–Nov. 19, 6 pm, $50/$40 member

Youth Sports Training This fun and challenging service provides kids ages 11–17 a place to cross train specifically for sports related athletic improvement. The Cups & Candles Shabbat Series Come celebrate Shabbat with the JCC! A whole year of Shabbat fun including Friday evening potlucks, Havdalah, holiday celebrations, crafts and plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy together. Teshuvah and Tapas Get ready for the High Holy Days with the J, and embrace the Days of Awe with traditional activities. Throw bread crumbs in the water and watch them float away, sing songs with Scott and Julie, create beeswax Shabbat candlesticks made from honey bees and say the Shabbat blessings. A special visitor will explain how honey is made just in time for the holiday, too. Bring a vegetarian/dairy dish (our tapas) for 10 to share.
