TU Team Wins the Best Project Award at Anveshan at AIU Student Research Convention 2012-13 (East Zone)

A four member team from B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering and Integrated

B.Sc/B.Ed in Physics represented Tezpur University in Anveshan organized under the aegis of

the Association of Indian Universities Student Research Convention 2012-13 (East Zone) held at

NIT Durgapur from February 19th to 21st. The project, “EMG Controlled Four DoF Prosthetic

Finger” presented by the team has been adjudged the Best Project in the field of Engineering and

Technology. Participants from 27 Institutions from the Eastern Zone took part in the competition.

The winning team will participate in the national level convention to be held at the Tata Institute

of Social Science (TISS), Mumbai from March 20th to 22nd.

The team comprised of Tulika Bhuyan, Trishna Barman, Prem Prakash Vedi from the BTech 7th

Semester, Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering and Omkar

Borpatragohain, Integrated B.Sc/ B.Ed. 2nd semester, Department of Physics. The team was led by

the Project guide Mr Nayan Moni Kakoty, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and

Communication Engineering
