Stage 1 – Pre-Consultation consultation

• 10 – 12 July 2014

• 4 half-day exhibitions

• 17.5 hours of exhibition time

• 87,277 invites sent to households & businesses in Dartford & Gravesham

• 876 letters to politicians in Dartford & Gravesham and in adjoining Local

Authorities & at GLA

• 400 invites sent to local stakeholder groups

• Adverts in local media

• Resulted in:

• 2,140 attendees

• 1,133 feedback forms being returned


Stage 2 - Public consultation

• 5-15 November 2014

• 12 half day exhibitions

• 49.5 hours of exhibition time

• 13,362 invites sent to households (cf. 87,277 to households & businesses

previously) in the nearest 4 local authorities

• 2,573 invites to those who provided their details at July consultation or on-line

• 877 letters to the politicians again

• 600 invites local stakeholder groups

• Adverts in local media

• Resulted in:

• 2,190 attendees (cf. 2,140 at Stage 1)

• 786 feedback forms being returned (cf. 1,133 at Stage 1)

• The project aims to provide 7,000

jobs to staff the London

Paramount Resort.

• Additional 16,000 jobs will come

from the commercial area

surrounding the resort and wider

supply chain.

• Another 4,000 from the hotel

parks that will be on site.

• Plus: 6,000 construction jobs

through the build phase.

• Of those 7,000 London

Paramount jobs – 70% (4,900)

will be customer interfacing roles.
