If you are familiar with the VMware suite; such as vSphere and vCenter, you will find VMware on AWS combines the cloud benefits with familiarity. IT teams do not have to reskill in cloud monitoring and management but continue to use tools like vCenter to manage their infrastructure. They could also leverage a hybrid environment where some workloads remain on premises and others are in the cloud, or alternatively a DR environment in the cloud with production onsite.
