Principal’s Report
Harmony Day and Grandparents Day Harmony Day/Grandparents Day will be celebrated this Wednesday. Our morning will begin with a parade at 9:40 under the shade cloth. This will be followed by an opportunity to visit classrooms. Morning tea will be served to our visitors in the hall from 11:30. Classes will resume their timetables from 12:00. Students are invited to wear national costume or orange clothing to represent harmony. Parent/Teacher Interviews Our online booking system is now open so that parents are able to make a booking at a time that suits them. The instructions are attached. Easter Raffle Our Easter Raffle will be drawn this Thursday with a large number of prizes to be won. Our thanks to Sarah Bouch and her team of talented helpers who again have sorted and beautifully presented over 100 prizes. Extra tickets are available from the office. Please return all tickets to the office as soon as possible. World’s Greatest Shave On Saturday, Jack B of Year 5, took part in the World’s Greatest Shave charity event to help raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation. The “shave” took place at “Just Hair” in Cox’s Road and many of our Truscott Street families, as well as total strangers, donated to the foundation. Jack has raised over $1,100 an amazing effort as he officially signed up only a few weeks ago.
