Chilworth Manor is conveniently located in the leafy Hampshire outskirts of Southampton with easy access to Winchester, Portsmouth and the New Forest. The hotel offers 12 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, with a further 27 sprawling acres in the Chilworth Conservation Area which seamlessly flows from the hotel grounds, providing many unique photo opportunities for you to explore, from the pretty lake with its flowering lilies, to the mysterious Deer Ring.

Chilworth Manor caters for a wide variety of wedding celebrations and offers a number of private suites, each with individual charm. Our experienced team will guide you to making the perfect selection for your special day.

Our team appreciate that every wedding must be unique and will work hard to guide and encourage you whilst focusing on your priorities to ensure a truly memorable day in whichever of our elegant locations you select.

The Lord Selborne Suite offers outstanding views of the tranquil grounds, and benefits from a private terrace. This suite also includes the use of the private Herb Garden Lounge for your guest bar, as well as a quiet area in which guests can relax.

The Coach House is a spacious and self-contained suite, perfect for larger wedding celebrations, featuring its own private bar and anteroom, ideal for a quieter lounge area

during evening celebrations. The Coach House has a private terrace and is popular for couples choosing to include barbecues or hog roasts in their celebrations during the summer months.

A number of other suites are available for couples seeking something more intimate with the Seely, Earl Jellicoe, and GK Chesterton Suites all available for celebrations with family and friends for a traditional wedding breakfast, or perhaps an afternoon tea celebration.

Chilworth Manor is licenced to hold civil ceremonies for up to 120 guests in a selection of our beautiful suites. Ranging from small, intimate ceremonies in the Seely Suite, to larger gatherings in the Lord Selborne or Coach House Suite. The GK Chesterton, our most popular ceremony suite, is adjacent to our main Galleried Hall, and was the original library room at the Manor House. All of our licensed ceremony suites offer natural daylight and garden views, and working with a number of our preferred suppliers, can be dressed according to your colour scheme.

The gardens at Chilworth Manor provide stunning backdrops for photographs to

treasure. Guests are also invited to explore the Chilworth Conservation Area which directly

connects to the hotel grounds with the Manor’s original boating lake, creating a picturesque sanctuary. The boats have long since been replaced by wild lilies to provide a beautiful

vista from the bridge back towards the Manor.

The Conservation Area is also home to the ‘Deer Ring’. This is an impressive ring of

Western Red Cedars that are believed to be up to 120 years old. We are certain that the deer

ring provides a mysterious and romantic natural space within which to wander and an entirely unique and dramatic setting for photographs that will be a talking point for years to come.

Chilworth Manor is home to an impressive Cedar of Lebanon tree. The tree is one of the largest by circumference in England, cloaked in magnificence and believed to be at least

200 years old. Its evergreen conifer is a symbol in ancient history of immortality and eternal peace – a popular spot to eternalise your

precious moments with a photograph under the ornamental foliage.

The grounds at Chilworth also include a helipad for couples wanting to arrive, or depart, by air. This is located in the hotel’s gardens to the rear of the property, ensuring your guests can gather on the terrace to provide a warm

welcome, or to give a fitting send off.

Chilworth Manor Hotel offers a selection of bedrooms including standard rooms, executive rooms, superior rooms, deluxe rooms, and suites. Our wedding packages include luxurious complimentary accommodation for the happy couple on their first wedded night together, but it’s important not to forget about your guests! Discounted accommodation rates are available for your guests to book at Chilworth Manor (subject to availability).

Standard rooms are located within the Garden Wing and offer comfortable facilities for your guests in either twin or double rooms. For those guests looking to indulge in a little more luxury, our Manor rooms located in the original house include executive, superior, deluxe, and suite rooms. All rooms in the Manor are unique in their design and layout, and our

wedding planners will be delighted to show you a selection of bedrooms to help you find those most suited to members of your party.

Our rates for wedding guests include an extensive breakfast menu in the Manor Restaurant the morning after. For newlyweds seeking some more time alone to reminisce on their special day, a private breakfast can be arranged in the suite to extend that first morning bliss. Or, make your wedding day last that little bit longer by arranging an exclusive breakfast, and post-celebration lunch for you and your guests so you can share memories from your special day and ensure you have time with every guest, before heading off to start your married life.

All Chilworth Manor overnight guests are able to enjoy complimentary access to the leisure facilities in The Club at Chilworth Manor. The Club is located in the hotel grounds and includes an indoor swimming pool, spa pool, steam room, sauna and gymnasium. Please note that child swimming restrictions apply for the pool. Please speak with your wedding planner for details.

All couples who book their wedding at Chilworth Manor will receive a complimentary joint 6-week membership for The Club. This provides unlimited access to the swimming pool, spa pool, steam room, sauna and gymnasium. Either opt to utilise your leisure access pre-wedding as a temporary escape from planning details, or after the big day as a way to spend quality time together as a newly married couple.

The Club at Chilworth also includes the Comfort Zone Spa with four treatment rooms offering individual treatments, or spa day packages. These are ideal for some pampering prior to your upcoming nuptials, and also a great option for getting together with some friends before your wedding to relax and unwind. Day packages are available to include lunch or afternoon tea, and if you’re looking for a pre or post wedding break, residential packages are also available.
