TRANSCRIPT
TroTrof® has been designed tocomply with Network railstandards for cable troughingsystems. It has a high impactresistance; the complete unit(lid and base) hasdemonstrated that itwithstands a loading of 25tonnes without damage.
Both the lid and base havebeen designed to interact with concrete, making it ideal for maintenance installationsand upgrade projects.
The TroTrof® system’s versatility has beenproven by installation teams who have used iton sites with difficult access, such as steepinclines and viaducts where weight is an issue.
TroTred® has been designed to offer therail industry a combined high capacity cabletrough route and safe walkway (safecess),compliant with Network Rail standardsthus eliminating the need for a cable routeand a separate walkway.
The TroTred® design combined withinnovative raw materials enables safehandling and high installation rates withoutany loss or damage. This combinationensures that TroTred® offers significantinstalled cost savings compared to theinstallation of a separate trough route andsafecess.
TroTred® is currently being used on the22km Airdrie to Bathgate project, completion is due late 2010.

Trojan Services Limited (TSL) Overview
TSL use state of the art processes and recycled materials to produceinnovative products for the railway and other civil engineeringapplications including cable troughs and walkways.
Our products have been independently tested to Network Rail standards.Accelerated ageing tests on the materials have proven that our productscontinue to perform well in excess of the specified minimum lifetimerequirements.
Quality & Durability
All materials and processes used are ISO 9001 assured, which ensuresthat our products performance is totally reliable e.g. no rejects at thepoint of delivery and no breakages/damage during transport andinstallation.
Health & Safety
Our products are designed to comply with current Health & SafetyExecutive (HSE) Manual Handling Guidelines, ensuring that each partcomes within the maximum weight for a one man lift (25kgs). Thecombined TroTrof® C/1/9 unit (lid and base) weigh less than 20kgs,making it safe for one man to life and carry – the concrete equivalentweighs 88kgs.
Sustainability
All Trojan products are sourced from high-grade recycled polymers.Transportation costs and environmental impacts are significantlyreduced as a result of the higher volume of products that can bedelivered compared to concrete equivalent products.
Reliability
We have designed our products using high impact strength materials, thereby eliminating damage and breakages during transportation, handling and installation. The polymer material we use can be workedlike timber e.g. it can be cut and screwed using standard hand tools, which allow flexible solutions to onsite adjustments during installation.
Traceability
In compliance with ISO 9001 standards each TSL component is markedat the time of manufacture allowing every component to be traced backthrough the manufacturing process to the exact raw material used in itsproduction.
