• All the approved standard solid colours and specially selectedmetallic colours for use with the SOLON SOLbond Integra system, surpass requirements of RUV4 and RC5 certification as per EN10169:2009 providing outstanding colour retention and corrosionresistance.

• The Trisomet® 333 PV, powered by SOLON is offered with a Platinum®System Guarantee which is free of charge and provides peace ofmind to clients due to a 25 year cover on material performance and12 year cover for workmanship.

• Trisomet® 333 is available with Colorcoat® High Reflect pre-finishedsteel which is a bespoke liner designed to provide maximum lightreflectivity within the building to reduce energy requirements, associated operational costs and CO2 emissions.

• Colorcoat Prisma® standard colours have been tested byindependent laboratories and passed the requirements ofBS6920:2000 for cold water use and certified by WRAS (WaterRegulations Advisory Scheme) for use in contact with potable(drinking) water.

2. Sika Sikasil® SG-20 adhesive system.

3. SOLON SOLbond PV module.

Key benefits: Trisomet® 333 PV, powered by SOLON

• Lightweight PV module design (less than 10Kg/m2), providingminimal loading to structure and hence providing savings to mainsteel work specification.

• There are no requirements for fasteners to penetrate the roof whichtherefore maintains the thermal and weather tightness integrity ofthe Trisomet® 333 System.

• Slim panel installed flush with roof panel with hidden connectorsproviding a sleek attractive aesthetic.

• Direct bonding to roof panel system provides economical and fasttrack installation.

• Frameless system minimises dirt and water traps to allow efficientnatural wash down through rainfall, and also avoids any shadingcaused by traditional mounted systems.

• High power output.

• Using the SOLON SOLbond Integra system in conjunction withColorcoat Prisma® by Tata Steel provides the building owner with theconfidence that the combined solution has a lifespan consistent withthe duration of feed in tariffs in most relevant European countries.

DETAIL DESIGN

Panel layout

Tata Steel's technical team are available to explain how the systemworks and what benefits you can gain from installing the Trisomet® 333PV System on your building.

Further to this initial discussion our Technical Team will develop a NBSPlatinum specification for your project, which will incorporate the roofcovering and all ancillary components together with the SOLONSOLbond Integra system.

The specification will provide a list of approved installers which willcover both the Trisomet® 333 and the SOLON system installation. Thesecontractors will liaise directly with SOLON to produce a detail design forthe Photovoltaic element and provide a quote for the whole system.

The approved installers will fit both the Trisomet® 333 and the SOLONsystem and will arrange for SOLON’s approved electrical contractor towire and connect the system.

Tata Steel and SOLON will inspect the installation, the contractor willregister the project and the system guarantees will be issued.

INSTALLATION

1973mm

Trisomet® 333 SystemTrisomet® 333 installation is as per standard recommendations, with theexception of the use of sealed rivets for all side lap stitching in the areasin which the SOLON SOLbond Integra system is to be installed.

SOLON SOLbond Integra layoutThe SOLON system is installed perpendicular to the roof slope withcabling in a vertical direction, as shown below. It is good practice tolayout panels to ensure maintenance paths are available.

Adhesive bondTwo types of adhesive are used – first transfer adhesive, or “adhesive pads”and secondly a paste-like, permanently elastic adhesive, Sikasil® SG-20. The adhesive pads give sufficient immediate adhesion directly uponinstallation and the elastic adhesive provides the long term strength.

The height and width of the adhesive beading is defined by the nozzlessupplied and will equal the height of the adhesive pads followinginstallation.

The adhesive pads are applied first, followed by beads of adhesivebetween the pads. The module must then be affixed to the roof withinthe drop time of the adhesive.

Use sealed Rivet forside lap stitching
