In this mosaic we can see Esculapio, Venus (with Eros riding over a dolphin), of the s. IV a.C. That represent the
meeting of Baco and Ariadna.
This is a rest of a sculpture that was found in the Roman
Theatre. This is a representation of the Emperor Augustus with a veil over his head which shows him as the maximum religious authority in Mérida. He was the most
important ruler of the Roman Empire. The sculpture is make
of carraca marble.
The Roman Theatre was founded in the year 15-
16 B.C. Is make of concrese. The theatre
used to represent short works.
The actors used to represent until three or four at the same time. The Romans was an
