Day 1: Arrive Halifax, Nova ScotiaToday board your flight bound for Canada’s Atlantic Coast. Upon arrival in Halifax meet your Tour Director and transfer to your hotel for a two night stay. Overnight: Halifax, NS

Day 2: Halifax SightseeingToday enjoy a Halifax City Tour featuring Bedford Basin, the Public Gar-dens, St. Mary’s University, Point Pleasant Park and the Citadel, a large star-shaped masonry fort built to protect the city. This afternoon visit a Nova Scotia highlight, Peggy’s Cove famous for its rock shore and light-house. Day 3: Halifax - Baddeck This morning travel to Cape Breton Island. Enjoy a scenic drive around Bras D’or Lake to the lakeside resort town of Baddeck. This afternoon visit the Alexander Graham Bell National Museum to view many of Bell’s arti-facts, inventions and personal mementos. Later check into your hotel for a two-night stay. Day 4: Cabot TrailEnjoy a journey along the famous Cabot Trail explored by Englishman John Cabot in the late 15th century. The Cabot Trail is one of the most spectacu-lar highways in North America. Along the way stop in the seafaring town of Margaree Harbor and visit the scenic city of Cheticamp, known for its hook rugs. Then follow the trail to Cape Breton Highlands National Park, where deep-walled canyons, sandy beaches and majestic cliffs are found. Day 5: Travel to Charlottetown, PEI Depart Cape Breton crossing the Canso Strait. Later board a ferry and trav-el to Prince Edward Island (PEI). Enroute cross the Northumbreland Strait, which separates Nova Scotia and New Brunswick from Prince Edward Is-land. This area features some of the warmest waters of the North Atlantic. Day 6: Prince Edward Island SightseeingToday enjoy a Prince Edward Island Tour. Visit the College of Piping to learn about traditional Celtic music. Day 7: Charlottetown, PEI - Western Shore, NS Today’s scenic drive begins as you depart Prince Edward Island and cross the Confederation Bridge into New Brunswick. The scenery unfolds as you make your way through New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. This afternoon arrive at the Oak Island Resort situated on Nova Scotia’s Western Shore nearby Mahone Bay. Day 8: Grand Pre - Bay of Fundy - Lunenburg Start your day with a visit to the Grand Pre National Historical Site to learn about Acadian history and culture. Acadian exiles were the forefathers of Louisiana’s Cajun people. Then visit Halls Harbor, an authentic fishing vil-lage famous for 45 foot tides due to its location on the Bay of Fundy. Later visit the scenic seafaring town of Lunenburg featuring a colorful waterfront, narrow streets and captivating architecture.
