Trip into the world of recycling

KINDERGARTEN PUPILS FOR MOTHER’S DAY
The vases were made with liquid soap containers and flowers with eggs containers .
THE FIRST CLASSES’ PUPILS USING EMPTY WATER BOTTLES AS BOXES FOR
PLANTING FLOWERS.
THE FIFTH CLASSES’ PUPILS VISITED THE CHAIN OF PAPER RECYCLING
All of these furnitures have been built with recycled cardboard.
While alternately one group of students listens to the explanations, another one is guided inside the plant where the materials are separated.
The materials as they come in to storage.
Children see how the materials are separated…
… to be sent in the various companies who buy them.
This is the hall of of the company Ecoross offices, who hosted us.
The reception desk is decorated with cans of orange juice, coca-cola, old newspapers, detergent empty bottles and othes materials.
And this is the meeting room, with chairs made from recycled plastic and a large window decorated with plastic bottles and fragments of crushed discarded glass.

INSIDE THE OFFICE BUILDING, THERE IS A PERMANENT EXHIBITION OF ARTWORK
MADE ENTIRELY FROM RECYCLED MATERIALS, BY ITALIAN AND FOREIGN
ARTISTS.
In the next few slides we show you the artwork that, among many others, have attracted the our students’ attention.
These vases with flowers are made of colored plastic bottles.
A coffee table made with credit cards.
A stool made with a bus
seat, a dummy legs and bicycle
wheels.
The little dog made with a crankshaft pieces wowed our children.
The chair made with the waste container…
…and the lamp made with helmets visors.
The two beautiful paintings made with a bike and a jacket found in the trash…
…as these pants that are found too in the trash.
And then pictures made with all kinds of material: cardboard tubes, fridge grids, polystyrene sheets, scraps of frames, empty rolls of toilet paper, wipers, strips of gauze expired ... all strictly found in the trash!
Clothes made with packing material and plastic bags for packs.
