• The Father is God, The Son is God and The Holy Spirit is God.

•Any deviation from the above truth is not according to the Bible, it is a counterfeit or deceit of the enemy, we also call it as “cult”. “Spiritual aberration – deviation from the Truth”


Five major errors concerning Trinity

Arianism – Only Father is God (Jehovah witness)

Sabellianism – (Modalism) God appears in three different modes, Jesus only movement, baptism in the name of Jesus(United Pentecostal Church)

Socinianism – doesn’t see all three co-equal, each person less than the previous person, a dominant belief in Europe (Brethren)

Unitarianism – Denies trinity (Judaism)

Tritheism – Denies trinity and considers three different Gods (Mormons hold a variant of this view)


Trinitarianism 1. This is the doctrine of the trinity

a. The word trinity comes from the Latin "trinitas" b. From another Latin word, trinus, which means "threefold" c. Meaning a triad, or "group of three", suggesting both unity and diversity

2. This view holds that God is one God... a. But that the one God exists eternally in three persons (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) b. That in this one God there is both unity and diversity:

1. The unity consists, not in the unity of purpose only, but in one common nature, in the sameness of "Godhood"

2. The diversity is seen in that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinguishable in their roles

3. The doctrine of the trinity can be stated in three propositions a. First, God is one God b. Second, the Son is fully God and is distinct from God the Father and God the

Spirit 1. There is nothing in concept of God (deity), no quality, no attribute, which the Son does not possess 2. Yet He is not the same person as the Father or the Spirit

c. Third, the Spirit is fully God, is distinct from the Father and the Son, and is personal a. The Spirit is not a created being or energy from God, but is deity b. He is different in His "person" and "mission" from the Father and the Son

What is cult? Any group, which claims to be a Christian group yet teaches something that is not primarily a Christian belief. Any group that uses manipulative psychological “Mind Control” techniques to recruit and control their members. Examples of cult groups: Seventh day Adventist Jehovah Witness Mormons UPCI


New Age Movements Colossians 2:8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.

7 Major teachings of the New Age movement:

1. Jesus was not and is not the only Christ, nor is he God.

2. "God" is impersonal, cosmic, a God of energy forces.

3. Man is himself God, for he consists of and is the creator of "the forces." Man already exercises the powers inherent in his divinity and needs only to awaken to this fact.

4. Man should seek and accept spiritual instruction and direction directly from the spirit world.

5. All religions and religious teachings lead to the same goal. All are equally of merit.

6. The "ancient wisdom" of Babylon, Egypt and Greece - not the Bible - is the basis of all truth.

7. Sin and evil do not exist. Peace and love are the ultimate realities.

Understanding on Trinity is important It affects the way we pray It affects the way we worship Our understanding and thinking about God is altered Every biblical blessing comes from the triune God Trinity is Involved in every spiritual aspect

– Salvation – Baptism – Anointing of the Holy Spirit – Spiritual gifts – Fellowship among believers – Ministry – Rapture & second coming – Eternal living

Those who reject Trinity are not Bible based believers, they are subjected to eternal punishment.


False teachers/Prophets are eternally punished

Matthew 7:15 - You Will Know Them by Their Fruits. “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 2 Peter 2:1 - But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. Matthew 24:24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. Revelation 20:10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.


A final warning!!! - by Paul the Apostle Galatians 1:6-11 6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. 10 For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.
