THANK YOU! To Kent Phillips and all who helped with Trinity’s German Village Valuables Sale last weekend. A total of $1,280.70 was raised to support the general fund of Trinity Church. Left-over items were donated to the Salvation Army, with a few valuable items being reserved for future fund raising sales. Pictured here are just a few of the many people who helped loading the truck on Friday and at the sale on Saturday.

ECSF QUILT RAFFLE COMES TO TRINITY! See Karen Peeler this Sunday for raffle tickets on a gorgeous quilt to benefit ECSF grants to Trinity and other churches! Maude Haeger, whose quilts have been exhibited in shows throughout the country, has created the Spirit of the Wind quilt to ECSF to raise funds to help Ohio families emerge from homelessness and unemployment. The artist writes: “The word spirit has many connotations, beginning with the Holy Spirit which is to be our comforter and our prompter towards those things that will help others. May the Holy Spirit bless and inspire our Ohio community to wave our banner high and help us win the battle against poverty!” Chances cost $10 each or 6 for $50. You can buy chances from Karen or on ECSF's website, www.ECSFsouthernohio.org. The Spirit of the Winds quilt will be raffled Aug. 17 at ECSF’s Bike Fest in Dayton. You need not be present to win. ECSF is the diocese's source of grants for community ministry. Trinity was awarded $4,000 in ECSf grants this year for the ID ministry and In the Garden.
