Trinidad and Tobago motto-Together we aspire, together we achieve Official language-English United states official motto-In God we trust National language-English United States traditional motto-E Pluribus Unum (Latin for: out of many, one) U.S.’s traditional motto and T&T’s official motto

are both similar, they recognize the country as a group of people that act as one

Popular dish-Curry chicken and roti (roti is a type of

flatbread) Connection the United states-Curry powder is a spice that is commonly

used with meat. This spice is used is America, but originates from India. From India, the spice traveled to Trinidad and Tobago, and then to the United States.

Calypso music, Soca music and steelpan U.S. music-hip hop, blues, country,

rhythm and blues, jazz, barbershop, pop, techno, and rock and roll

from T&T that are important to our culture. For example, coffee, or the favored summer snack, watermelon.
