Tri-Fold Tonneau CoverInstallation Instructions

1.) Wash truck bed. Place the cover on front of truck bed (cab end).

4.) With tailgate closed, unfold cover fully. Adjust position over the truck bed for proper cab/tail alignment before securing latches.

6.) With tailgate open and front cab latches secure, unfold cover completely.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN, inspect your LEER Trilogy Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover for any damage or missing parts. Your cover comes fully assembled and requires no tools to install. If you have any issues, please contact your authorized LEER dealer from whom you purchased the cover.

5.) Carefully refold cover without shifting its position on the truck bed. Place front cab latch lip under metal bed rail. Hand tighten the latch until lip comes into direct contact with the metal bed rail, then add two full turns. Fit should be snug, but do not over-tighten. DO NOT use a wrench or other tool to tighten the latch mechanism.

2.) Place dust seal on cover over truck bed front rail (between cab and truck bed). Note: Select models such as the '05 Toyota Tacoma and the '05 Honda Ridgeline have a bulb style dust seal.

DO NOT remove foam trapezoid shaped blocks. They protect panel surface when folding. Removal voids warranty.

Latch mechanism must be stowed in the latch pocket prior to folding the cover to the "open" position. Failure to properly stow the latch mechanism may damage cover surface and voids warranty.

8.) TRUCKS WITH UTILITY TRACKS: Slide aluminum blocks into utility track of bed. Position each block, 4 total, where the cab and tailgate latches are located. Tighten set screw with allen wrench. Secure latches on blocks instead of metal bed rail on truck.

7.) To secure cover in the "closed" position, attach tailgate latch by hooking lip of latch under the side metal bed rail and rotating handle downward to the locked position. Repeat on opposite side. Close and lock truck tailgate.

• Never travel with the cover in the partially open position; i.e., two panels closed, one panel open. Cover must be fully "closed" or fully "open" during transit.

• While driving with the cover in the "open" position, both front cab latches must be secured to bed rails and tie-down straps fastened.

• While driving with the cover in the "closed" position, all four latches (two front cab latches and two rear tailgate latches) must be secured.

• When cover is in the "closed" position, never haul cargo taller than the truck bed sidewall. This may result in panel hinge hyperextension and is NOT covered by warranty. Cover should rest flat the entire length of truck side rail.

• Apply paint protectors (provided) to inside metal bed rails at each latch position to prevent paint damage.

• Remove any snow, ice or debris from cover top before folding.• When vehicle is being towed or transported backward, remove cover entirely.

3-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY POLICYCOVERAGE:LEER, a Division of Truck Accessories Group, LLC, warrants you, the original retail purchaser, that your Trilogy tri-fold tonneau cover is free from defects in the material and workmanship. The warranty will void if the product has been damaged by accident, neglect, abuse, inappropriate use, improper installation or acts of God. LEER may, at our sole discretion, either repair or replace products that prove to be defective.

WARRANTY PERIOD:This warranty shall apply for 3 years as long as the Trilogy tri-fold tonneau is in the possession of the original purchaser on original truck and a proof of purchase (original sales receipt) is submitted.

LIMITATIONS:The above warranty shall apply only if ALL of the following conditions are met.

1. The original purchase only is covered and is not transferable.2. The TRILOGY tri-fold tonneau cover is on the original owner’s truck.3. The TRILOGY tri-fold tonneau cover is properly installed.4. The TRILOGY tri-fold tonneau cover has not been modified.5. Consequential damages, including damage to cargo or truck bed, are not covered.

NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY:1. Blown Off Covers: A. LEER will not warranty a TRILOGY tri-fold tonneau that comes off the truck while driving. B. Consumer responsibility to check clamps before driving2. Paint damage to your truck. Please use paint protector pads provided with your cover.3. Damage resulting from improper or careless unpackaging. Never open packaging with box cutter or any sharp instrument as it may scratch or damage contents.4. Damage caused by hyperextending panel hinge usually caused by hauling cargo taller than the truck bed sidewall when cover is in the “closed” position. 5. Damage caused by improper use, operation outside the products specifications, or use other than the cover’s intended application. 6. Failure to install and operate equipment according to the guidelines put forth in the installation manual.7. Damage occurring during transit provided by 3rd party shipping, example UPS or FEDEX. Claims must be filed directly with 3rd party shipper.

THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY PROVIDED BY TRUCK ACCESSORIES GROUP, LLC FOR THIS PRODUCT. LEER DOES NOT MAKE AND HEREBY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

REPLACEMENT PARTS:1. Most plastic and aluminum parts can be replaced.2. Contact your authorized LEER dealer for a list of replacement parts and cost.

SAFETY & CARE TIPS:1. Take care of your equipment.2. Periodically check your clamps for proper tension and make sure they are clamped down before traveling.3. When you are riding with the cover in the open position, make sure the tie-down straps are fastened.4. Periodic cleaning with mild soap and water only. Avoid use of abrasive pads or harsh cleaners as they can dull finish. Avoid use of chemicals and harsh fluids as they can damage hinges and seals voiding the warranty.
